Lip Factory Beauty Subscription Box Review – September 2014 Box

Lip Factory is a monthly full-size makeup subscription box. They tend to send a variety of drugstore and mid-tier makeup, and the value seems to always be at least double the cost of the box. (Extra good news – they ship worldwide!)

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Each box comes with a folded card detailing the items included for that month.

Lip Factory Beauty Subscription Box Review – September 2014 Eyeshadow

JCat Beauty Jar Eyeliner - Value $6

ModelCo Eye Shadow Trio - Value $26

There is something about an eyeshadow palette in a subscription box that just makes me happy! And this palette is "Nautrally Neutral" which is perfect for me. (Not sure if you can tell in the photo, but the middle eyeshadow is a matte finish, and the other two shades have a slight shimmer.

The eyeliner on the other hand I may swap or gift since I have way too much eyeliner reserves right now!

Lip Factory Beauty Subscription Box Review – September 2014 Lipgloss

Girlactik Pout Shine - Value $19

Ofra Lip Gloss in Orchid - Value $13

Angle Eyeliner - Value $9

I'm liking both of these lip gloss shades. The Ofra lip gloss isn't sticky at all (my biggest pet peeve with lip products), and it provides a lot of shine and shimmer.

(FYI - This eyeliner brush isn't branded, so I'm just going off the value listed in the card).

Verdict: I paid $22 for this box and received over $70 worth of makeup products. Pretty much every month I'm impressed with the value of this box. They tend to repeat some brands though (like JCat), but as long as you're OK with getting several makeup items from the same brand in the course of your subscription I recommend this box!

I am really disappointed with the September Lip Factory box. Three of the five items in the box are eye products that I have absolutely no interest in. This was a total waste. Maybe I assumed incorrectly that Lip Factory would be a subscription dedicated to lip products. I am really disappointed.

This looks like a pretty good box, I just got my Lip Monthly box today and was disappointed. I wish both of these “Lip” subscriptions had more lip products in them. I would’ve loved to have gotten the lipglosses!
