Grover & Friends Men’s Clothing Subscription Review – Sept 2014 Box

Grover & Friends is a monthly men’s clothing subscription box. Most of the clothing is from the Grover brand, and some items are made exclusively for the box.  Unfortunately this box is the last one from Grover and Friends - they are ending their subscription service.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Grover & Friends Men’s Clothing Subscription Review – Sept 2014 Letter

The box came with a letter from the Director of Marketing explaining that this was the last box, and that any longer subscriptions would be refunded. (This is how you properly end a subscription box, WhimseyBox!)

FYI - Normally in these boxes there is a card detailing each item included with an overall theme. Since this is the last box I have a feeling the boxes were just filled with random items, so I'm not sure if everyone got the same items this month.

Grover & Friends Men’s Clothing Subscription Review – Sept 2014 Shorts

Grover Printed Sweatshort - Value $68

I think this is my husband's favorite Grover and Friends clothing item ever. (Of course that happens when the box is shutting down!) The letter included a 25% off coupon code to shop their site, so we might buy a few more of these.

Grover & Friends Men’s Clothing Subscription Review – Sept 2014 T Shirt

Grover Light Yellow Pocket Tee - Value $42

Grover & Friends Men’s Clothing Subscription Review – Sept 2014 Tee

Grover Striped Tee - Value $42

I'm pretty sure these tees are repeats for us, but they are super soft basics, so that's OK.

Grover & Friends Men’s Clothing Subscription Review – Sept 2014 Wallet

Clark & Madison Wallet - Value $58

I believe this is another item we received before in a past Grover and Friends box. It's a high quality wallet, so it will make a great gift!

Grover & Friends Men’s Clothing Subscription Review – Sept 2014 Boxers

Grover Boxers - Value $26

The one item my husband doesn't like from Grover - oh well!

Verdict: I thought this box was a great ending to a subscription box we will miss. The value is over $200! Did you subscribe to Grover and Friends? What did you get in your last box?

My husband’s box was a total DUD and Grover didn’t respond to any of my emails- all repeats and all summer items and a bag from a previous box. Everyone else seems to have received better box. No gym collection items, nothing. So much for a company we’ve spent a lot of $$$$$ on, hoping to trade.

This was my sons subscription box bummer it’s ending. In his last box he got a long sleeved tee. Two long sleeved Henleys. A short sleeved tee and a pair of boxers. Oh and a gadget bag. I agree their shirts were such a nice soft tee material. RIP Grover and friends.
