Eco Emi End of Summer Sale Boxes!

Eco Emi is offering an End of Summer Blowout Sale Box for $12. Each box will include 10 summer products. (They didn't specify item size, so I would assume sample sizes).

Just ordered this, we shall see. I am excited because I am getting more an more into natural things (less migraines). Hopefully it won’t be a let down.

For the summer blowout sale box, does that start an official subscription? I am curious so that way I know if I hate it I know to cancel or if I love it I know to start one. Thanks.

I received the same items as listed plus a hair band. My balm is lime coconut. I also received a hair band. The Bug a Boo is attached to the card. The cooling lotion did not separate. The shampoo is marketed towards little girls as per their Facebook. I’ll use the shampoo on my younger son. The only item I will be using for myself is the packet of Aubrey sunscreen. It also irks me that the 2 items that I am keeping are marked not for individual sale and sample not for sale.

I like the concept and want to like the box, but it is not for me. A few of the products are marked as certified gluten-free or certified non-gmo which is why I want to like the box. I’m going to hand this off to my sister minus the sunscreen packet and shampoo. She will love this box especially the gf items.

Sorry. Concentration is poor with the little guy around 🙂 Did not mean to repeat myself about the headband.

My box might arrive on Monday. Not sure what is up with the box since the only scans that are listed are the ones yesterday at the local USPS processing area.

I got the same box as Denise, the lip balm was lime coconut, though. I can’t believe I spent money on this. My 9 year old daughter stole the gum, shampoo, and lip-balm, so at least she is happy

I just got mine. Super unimpressed.
1. Gleeful Gum
2. Peta@ Squeaky Clean Shampoo 2 oz. About a half an ounce leaked.
3. Wild Garden Hummus, single serving
4. Aubrey sunscreen, foil pack
5. Organic Flavrz drink mix, single serving
6. BeeUtifully organic after sun cooling lotion- THIS IS GROSS. It’s in a tiny little 1/4 oz (?) pot and it’s clearly separated. It looks like coconut body butter floating in oil.
7. I “think” I got Wellinhand Bug-A-Boo? There is a tiny sample in a perfume type container that is unlabeled. There is also a card with this product listed. They are not attached.
8. a moist towelette.
9. ANOTHER moist towelette. I didn’t catch the brand before throwing it in my daughter’s gym bag.
10. Milly Rose lip balm. This was the only thing I was interested.

Was everyone else’s this MEH?

I didn’t get this one, but I did buy another Eco Emi special edition box and it really wasn’t my thing. It also contained the hummus (which was fine, I ate it but they must have a LOT lying around if they’re still trying to get rid of it) and a beauty product I didn’t want to use (makeup remover with stuff floating in it — I went so far as to contact the Etsy maker and wasn’t convinced by her explanations because it reminded me too much of bacteria growing in my buffer solutions when I was in grad school).

If you like indie products, Eco Emi might be good. But my experience kind of turned me off from indie beauty products.

This is disappointing to read. My tracking still says it is in pre-shipment.

PA Anna

This old gal received notification that a tracking number was created for the package.

Has anyone purchased the Custom box where you pick your items? Does that one also take a month to ship?

I decided to try this. It was slightly depressing to mark the 40 + don’t look it. I have a 6 year old! Also I received the same wording as Wendy. Strange.

I’m not 40 yet (will be 37 next month, though). But I was reading a newspaper article the other day about the low acceptance rate at my college (selective private institution in the northeast), and how it was easier for today’s 40-year-olds to get accepted than it is for today’s high school seniors. I’m thinking, it wasn’t *that* hard to get in. And then I realized I am MUCH closer in age to today’s 40-year-olds than I am to today’s high school seniors. That was my most recent depressing moment…

Ah, well, I’m told I don’t look my age. I suppose that should count for something.

It does 🙂

Wendy

Please keep in mind that your payment was taken one month in advance, so your first box will not arrive until mid next month. You will receive a tracking number via email once it ships.

Seriously??

I received a reply to my email regarding the shipping time. I feel much better about it now. 🙂

Hi there!

We are very sorry for the mix up. This is a one time payment not a subscription, and we are going to be filling your order today.

It should go in the mail sometime tomorrow, and it will be to you shortly after that.

Once again, we are very sorry about this, and we hope you enjoy the products in the box!

I really wanted to try out this box but since I already have too many subs, this was a perfect box for me without the monthly commitment.
Thanks Liz!
