Beauty Box 5 Luxury Limited Edition Box!

Thank you Rebekah for sharing this new Beauty Box 5 limited edition box with us! Here are the details:

The Box: Luxury Limited Edition Beauty Box

The Cost: $49

The Products: $138 worth of full size makeup from one brand. Hints on the brand:

  • It's one of the best professional lines.
  • Their pretty packaging is to-die-for.
  • Their high-quality makeup stays on all day!
  • We've previously featured one of their products in our boxes, and it was a huge hit.

Any guesses on what the makeup brand might be? I normally pass on Beauty Box 5 limited edition boxes since they get mixed reviews, but now of course I'm super curious about what brand they are featuring in this box.

I just got an email from them revealing the brand and 3 of the products. Liz did you get that or do you want me to post?

Liz,
Have you done any digging around on what may be in this box? I hit a low moment and decided to go for it. I haven’t received any notification for shipping yet and I’m itching to know what’s in it.
Thanks,
Leah

I almost jumped it sense bare minerals sold out while I was checking out.

I’ve been completely underwhelmed by my BB5 subscription, there is no way I’m going for any additional boxes from them without mowing there is a specific product that I want.

I’m not holding my breath on anything legitimately high end being included, well, ever. I’ve been subbed for a year and each month has gotten worse in terms of quality to the point it looks like a clearance sale box from the dollar store. I got 2 foil “not for resale” conditioner packets this month, along with a no name nail polish, unbranded toe separators, an eyeshadow stick (Nicka K, the only known brand in the box), and some random, again not for resale, eye gel by Lash ‘Em. High end? Are you kidding me?

My guess is either Bellapierre cosmetics or Urban Decay. Bellapierre had the makeup base in the March box and it was well liked. I know it makes an amazing eye primer for my mineral eye shadows. Their website states “Everyday to Runway” at the top. I know several makeup artists that use the brand. And of course Urban Decay is well loved and has those amazing eye pallets.

I researched some of their past boxes up to January and saw Glam Natural and Ellis Faas. I considered those the higher end brands. I know Glam Natural has cute packaging. So, that’ll be my guess.

Have the ever sent out tarte? I would love that!

Didn’t they feature Ellis Faas once? Now THAT I would like!

My guess is BH Cosmetics, it is super cute packaging. And they said they featured one of their products in a previous box. They only featured it once. I think it is considered high end. I haven’t ever seen urban decay or benefit or tarte in one of their boxes, so I doubt it is that…

Never mind! I got BH cosmetics mixed up with the Balm for a second cause I was thinking of that eye shadow palette and then some Balm stuff I have seen lately and it looked like they had a Hollywood, Malibu etc collection….

I’m guessing high end to them would be L’oreal or Revlon. I threw $40 down the drain on the last “limited edition box” and still angry about it. Only good thing in it was an Urban Decay Perversion mascara, everything else was pure crap. Couple of the products didn’t even have name brands on them at all. I would say skip this one, cuz you’ll probably be vastly disappointed. I got Glam Natural cream blush that’s essentially water, Iman? eyeliner which I’ve never heard of, the Urban Decay mascara and a lash primer, Revlon tweezers, an eye shadow brush, Nicka K nail polish I received in a box already and OPI nail polish from a 2010 collection that is no longer sold. I guess it values over the money I paid for it, but it’s crap. I’ll never again buy a limited edition box and will probably end up canceling my subscription.

My guess would be Tarte!

Peter Thomas Roth has a mascara called “to die for”. Maybe that’s it. Gotta love google. 🙂

I wish it were skin tone adjustable.

I was thinking Kat Von D, Tarte or Benefit until I saw that they had featured one of their products before… Model Co. or Becca, maybe? Do they consider Be a Bombshell to be high end?

I think there would be outrage if they sent a box full of Be a Bombshell! 😉

So true. People on facebook were guessing Benefit and Urban Decay, but have they ever sent out anything like that??
