Googaro Subscriptions on Sale at RueLaLa

Googaro subscriptions are one sale today at RueLaLa! (Find this deal in the Kids section). You can get a 3-month subscription for $65 (regularly $105) - that brings the cost down to less than $22 a month - and it's normally $35.

If you aren't familiar with this subscription, here is more info from RueLaLa: "A bundle of organic, BPA-free, and eco-friendly products for you and your little one will soon be at your door each month. All you have to do? Select your child’s age (ranging from newborn to three years old) and gender. Then Googaro will pack up four or five full-sized products to make bath, play, and snack time that much easier."

Also, even if you don't want this offer, I recommend creating a RueLaLa account if you don't already have one - many readers have reporting getting a random $20 credit in their account!

Does anyone have this sub? How does it compare to Citrus Lane and Bluum?

I have it (through a discount promotion). I find Citrus Lane to be the most consistent. I find Bluum to be hit or miss. Googaro is somewhere in between, but it’s less customized, so your chances of having an inappropriate box is higher. (they have boxes in 6 month increments, i.e. 0-6 months, 6-12 months, etc). It’s also the most expensive and definitely not worth the extra cost if paying full price. Cancelling is also a bit tricky with the cut off dates and their interface is confusing and pretty horrible. That said, if you can afford it, I think it’s a good enough deal to try it out!

I’m getting my first month of Googaro this month–should be arriving in a couple days. It was a one-month deal off one of the sites (Plum District maybe?) Do you know when the cancellation date is to keep from being charged for the next month?
I’ve also received two Citrus Lane and one Bluum box so far. I actually liked the Bluum box a bit better but had already signed up for 6 months with Citrus Lane on a deal. I’m keeping Bluum for now because if you review stuff you can get a free box after a few months. My daughter is 3 (b-day was in April), so it might depend on the age of your kid as to which box is better.

I just bought one, thinking that it would ask me what was the age of my child, well, it didn’t and in my order it says “baby”. Aaaarrrgghhh!
Anyone knows if this is fixable?

You can try going under “account details”. There they ask for your child’s birthday. You may also want to send an email to customer support just to be sure. Good luck!

Sweet, so do I. I signed up for Rue La La MONTHS ago and kept checking for the credit and not seeing it. Go figure that after not logging in for more than a month it would show up. Now I will be paying careful attention to what Liz posts and grab some sub that appeals to me when it shows up!
