I currently subscribe to Glossybox monthly, if I switch to a 3 or 6 month subscription will it give me another August box or will my next one be September? I’ve already received an August box, hopefully they wouldn’t send me two…

I had the monthly box sub (my Aug box still hasn’t shipped) and just did “change my plan” to the 3 month sub with the 20% off code and at the bottom it said that I’m already getting Glossybox Aug 2014 and they’ll reserve the next month for me. After I purchased, I saw that my ending month is Nov 2014 for the 3-month plan, so that makes sense that it starts in Sept. No duplicates thank goodness!

I’ve renewed on the last day of the month, only to receive a duplicate box for that month.
The only way is to wait until Glossybox say they’re all sold out. Or try phoning them – good luck!

Liz: I missed your box by 1 minute, I was typing in my cc number but i was not fast enough, then when I pressed enter the boxes where all gone — How can I get off this waiting list and subscribe permantly – I was pretty quick at entering my info for your box … I’m frustrated because i was not quick enough.

August will be my first Glossybox – if it ever arrives but I already don’t think I’m going to keep it. Do any of these beauty boxes actually include makeup? I feel like everything is just nail polish, face lotion, or shampoo.

I had glossy for a few months, this is my last month I cancelled because I jus wasn’t using the samples. Their high end but on the small side. If you want makeup specific boxes try: boxycharm- all full size and always makeup, starbox- full size, lip factory – full size and all makeup, blush mystery, a mix of makeup, hair and skin all full or deluxe sizes, the. Of course you could sub to wantable makeup and you can select what types of beauty items you want and don’t want. In my survey I said I disliked nail polish an have never recieved any. Wantable is the only customizable box I know of.

Really depends on the month and the box. Beautybox5 out has a spoiler with makeup. Boxycharm has makeup, MeMebox it depends on which surprise box you get, some do some don’t. Blush Mystery box was full of makeup last month. Nail polish does seem to be a common item in lots of boxes.

If I already have a subscription, can I use this to extend it? Mine is up in couple of months. Don’t want to have double boxes for a few months.

Good question. Unfortunately no, you can’t extend an existing subscription. I found this out the hard way by having to receive duplicate boxes for a few months.
Contacting Glossybox and begging for a reasonable solution doesn’t help. I tried and failed.

No, I just tried, it didn’t work for me on a gift box. I could only get it to work on the regular subscription.
