BoxyCharm is a full-size and deluxe-size makeup and beauty subscription box. When they first started they were featuring drugstore brands like Revlon and L’Oreal, but lately they’ve been using mid-tier and high-end brands. When I first saw this I thought it was a lipstick shade I wouldn't likely wear, but it's a lip sheen so it goes on relatively sheer.

This bronzer brand is new to me, and I love it! It's matte and the color is very natural looking - I'm already using it everyday! I think I still have some of this Cheek + Lip tint from another box (a little goes a long way) so I think I may swap this one.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $115 - amazing! I like every item in the box, and I think the bronzer is my favorite so far. What did you think of BoxyCharm this month?

I am totally addicted to these sub boxes! I finally started canceling some this month but then subscribed to 2 new ones! I don’t think I will ever cancel boxy charm if they continue to be this amazing. They are my favorite. I canceled escape monthly, love with food and beauty army. But then I signed up for eco emi’s new beauty box and the all natural face. I get fab fit fun, pop sugar, birchbox, ipsy, Luna for you, eco emi, lip monthly, Nadine west (free unless you keep), and beauty box 5 which I’m switching to an annual sub this month.

I think this is the best makeup box I’ve received this summer, or ever! I just love everything in this box. I think Boxycharm is amazing. This box is now sold out. I am not sure about Sept. so far because they are sending a lip gloss and I am not a lip gloss person. But, I am sure they will have other great items in the box. For $21 this box is a steal, you get full size products and the quality is good. I love how for August, the makeup all together provided a complete look. I got an olive green eyeliner which at first I thought would not look good, but I love it and use it daily. That’s exactly why I love these sub boxes, because it gets you to try new things! If you haven’t signed up for Boxycharm yet, do it!!!

Another spoiler is out! The NCLA (I think) nail polish in 3 shades. I’m hoping for anything other then red. It looks like red, cream and brown/black. The pictures are hard to tell. I’m exited about the lip gloss because I love Tarte and I love lipgloss! 🙂 This is going to be another great month.

I will say this is much better then Ipsy. I do like trying new things though.

I didn’t expect another nail polish. I would have preferred body lotion or something like that. I’m not complaining because the price is fantastic.

This is my favorite makeup subscription and Blush Beauty Mystery Box is my favorite all around skin care, hair care and makeup subscription.

Yes and decisions are hard. I mean just a few months ago before I started out with subs I only had one medium size cosmetic bag which came with a smaller one to carry with you. Now I have an overflow of nail polishes. My cosmetic bags are stuffed and I bought a new one. I never in my life had this much hair care or skin care for that matter but I’m loving the Clarisonic I discovered a few years back which was lost in moving and I finally bought another one 3-4 months ago. I started thinking the other day (well that’s a bad idea) thinking gets me into trouble but I started thinking that I really don’t have much jewelry so I may go for a jewelry subscription but I’m pretty picky so I dunno about that. The convenience is nice too. It’s fun getting goodies in the mail. We are all big kids at heart, well I am. :))))

I received the same items basically but a nude lip pencil that I can’t wear but from all the reviews everyone has received an eye pencil. I also received a nude lipstick called showroom so those two items I won’t be using but I just love the look of the lipstick case and bronzer case. Gorgeous!

My lipstick from last month was nude so I’m hoping for something with color next month if we get a lipstick. A little goes a long way on the cheek and lip stain by Model Co. It works well and lasts. The brush is also great quality.

I was floored with excitement when I opened my box. I’m hoping we receive eye shadow next month. I’ve been with subs a few months and haven’t received eye shadow yet.

Boxycharm and Blush beauty mystery box are my favorite subs. The value, quality and full sizes are awesome! 🙂

I got the lip liner too but in a shade darker than nude, but still in a neutral shade and I love it! I use liners to fill in the full lip then add a gloss over it.

Oh and I totally agree about the bronzer. It is very natural looking. I was afraid it was going to be way too dark but it was perfect with my light skin tone.

This was by far my favorite box! I subscribed in June but so far Boxycharm has impressed me. Plus in June they had a glitch and sent me two June boxes. Gave it to my mom who was very happy

Can you tell me about the Lip & cheek stain in this box??? Made Model & co I’ve never Used, heard of it before and I’ve only seen there products in Sub box reviews.

Liz you have tried a TON of lip stains I bet…. How well does this compaire to like the Cynthia rowlelys creamy lip stain we got last month in Birtchbox?? I LOVE mine! I got the lit pink Sugar Shade but it’s the best lip stain I’ve used so far because feels more like a lip gloss at 1st & stay on pretty good.

Can Anyone give me their opinion on this lip & cheek stain???

How does it rate quality wise? Equal to like sephora quality or could their products have a counter @ Macys or nordstrom or is it more like something you can pick up in target/ walmart quality???

It’s so hard to tell now. To many line out there now & is more about the Name sometimes. Example. I picked Stainiac in Beauty queen as my pick in this month birtchbox, it had 4 outta 5 stars & great reviews and I HATED it!!! Lol
It hardly put Any color on my lips, was gel , color was uneven, streaky, very sheer & I to did look like I had anything on. It was better on my cheeks I guess but was still very sheer & I had no make up On and pretty pale right now but Im sure its buildable but I hated the sticky gel on my face & it just wasn’t working right on my lips. JFK it was a shocker… So you can’t always trust online reviews…
** I always say, Lip & Cheek Stains are like Men. No way to know for sure till you try em out … They are either totally Amazing

The lip stain was nice but felt dry on the lips. I used a chaptick on top but it did not do much. I very much like the color and all you need is one drop and the more, the brighter. It has a strong taste which is hard to explain, almost artificial fruity. It’s pretty good but I prefer the other applicators that just glide on your lips. I received the stainiac lip stain in Birchbox and like it but it’s not moisturizing either.

This was my first in was really impressed that everything was full size I got the red lip liner instead of eyeliner but wish it had been more of a pink and my lip sheen is watermelon something its pretty red which isn’t my favorite but I haven’t tried on yet I usually wear light pinks also wish I I hadn’t gotten the blush since my cheeks are very red as it is but love the bronzer I was needing a new one anyway.

I agree looks like a great box this month! So it seems boxycharm is the same products for all subs?? Like allures sample society? If so, wonder…am I too late to sign up for this months box? Hmmm…
Are the products always this good & quality?? If so it’s worth $21 for sure!

The value is always over $100 and always top brands and full sizes. This is one of the best subscription boxes for makeup ever.

Hi Maya- I was still able to get the August box, actually I got mine in the mail today. On their facebook page it says they still have August boxes available but they are going fast. So, I would sign up asap. Like Liz said, their boxes are impressive. I absolutely adore my August box!

It looks like BoxyCharm sends out the same products with some color variations. And I would ask their customer care if it’s too late to get this box. And for the past 5-6 months I’ve been consistently impressed with the product curation and quality – I recommend it.

This is a great sub and generally underrated, IMO. Great mix of known brands and new ones, full-sizes, nice price, what’s not to love? I loved this August box!

This was my first Boxycharm, and I was very happy with it! Loved the brush and the lip sheen (I got a somewhat lighter color, forget the name). Wish I’d gotten this bronzer instead of the one I got, which was much darker. I don’t really use black eyeliner, so that’s up for swap. And I’ve yet to try out the stain. But really, just the brush alone would have made me happy because I needed a powder brush, and this one is soooo soft! Lipstick was a bonus.

This was my last BoxyCharm for awhile. I’m trying to cut back on boxes for financial reasons. The plan is to focus on using the products I’ve accumulated before signing up for anything new.

I got the same lip color (it was the one I wanted based on the spoilers I saw). I got the same bronzer, too. But I won’t use the bronzer — I’m far to pale to pull that look off (it just makes my face look dirty). I’ll use the other stuff, though. Wish I hadn’t needed to quit.
