Dear Clark Shampoo - 1 oz Value $3
Hue Pomade - .5 oz Value $7
(These samples are pretty small so I added a quarter to the photo to show scale). The Dear Clark shampoo is made with organic and natural ingredients, and safe for color-treated hair. I might steal it, but I think my husband will like it too. It does have a very strong natural scent though!
Field Notes 3 Pack with Pens - Value $12
We get a lot of notebooks in subscription boxes, but I think my husband will use these - he liked a Field Notes notebook from another subscription box.
SmartSkin A27 Anti-Aging Eye Cream - .16 oz Value $40
I'm surprised that this little sample is worth so much! (The full size version retails for $125). I know my husband will have no interest in eye cream so I will be using this sample!
Bonobos Anchor Chief Pocket Square - Value $42
This is another very nice item my husband would never use. (I wish there was a way to completely opt out of the more formal items Birchbox Man sends. We filled out the survey, but it doesn't seem to do much good besides not sending him shaving items since he has a beard).
Verdict: We paid $20 for this box and received about $104 worth of items. To be honest, when I first looked at the box contents I would not have guessed it was such a high-value box. My husband won't use all the items, but I'll use the eye cream which should make this box worth it for us. And if you have any ideas for how I can use the pocket square let me know!
