New Beauty Test Tube is a bi-monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. Every other month they send you a tube full of deluxe and full size beauty samples and you also get a subscription to New Beauty Magazine. It’s a little pricier than other beauty subscriptions, but in general the value is usually incredible. (FYI – this is a different subscription from the QVC New Beauty Test Tube which ships every quarter).

The Subscription Box: New Beauty Test Tube
The Cost: $29.95 a box plus $8.95 shipping (ships every other month)
The Products: Deluxe and full size beauty products. (This subscription also includes a subscription to New Beauty Magazine).
Ships to: US only
Check out all my New Beauty Test Tube reviews, and the Beauty Subscription Box Directory!

Each New Beauty Test Tube comes with a booklet thoroughly detailing each product included.

The subscription includes a subscription to New Beauty magazine, but it ships separately from the box. (I really like this magazine, and it adds to the value of the box for me).

Philosophy Hope in a Jar for Body - 4 oz Value $12.50
Yon-Ka Vital Defense - FULL SIZE! Value $72
(FYI - in the booklet this Hope in a Jar for Body is listed as full size with a retail value of $65, but it looks like they accidentally used the regular Hope in a Jar moisturizer for the price, not the body version). Some reviewers on Sephora mentioned that they don't like the scent of this lotion, but I really like it. (Something about it reminds me a little of suntan lotion?) and it's a nice lightweight moisturizer. Plus it seems like in the last year or so Philosophy has removed all parabens, phthalates, etc. from their product ingredients!
The Yon-Ka brand is new to me, and I'm excited to try it. (I love when boxes send full-size versions of skincare products so you actually can use it for enough time to see if it works for you!)

Lumene Firming Night Creme - .5 oz Value $6
Laura Geller Waterproof Eye Spackle in Light/Fair - FULL SIZE! Value $23
My mom really likes Lumene skincare products, so this little night creme is going right to her! (FYI - My booklet listed a full-size Lumene CC Cream instead of these night cream). And while I'm a little bored with getting Laura Geller eye spackle in so many of these Test Tube boxes over the years - it is a great eye lid primer so I shouldn't complain too much!

Grande Face Lift - Foil Packet Sample
Biosilk Color Therapy Leave-In Treatment - FULL SIZE! Value $12.50
This month they didn't include the bonus sample pack, but my Test Tube had this one Face Lift sample in the box. (I hope they get back to doing the bonus sample packs soon!)
I tried out the Biosilk leave in treatment, and I don't notice any difference in the texture of my hair before or after applying it, but I guess it's more about protecting your hair from UV rays.

Dove Advanced Hair Series Oxygen Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner - 2 oz total Value $1
Bliss Blood Orange + White Pepper Soapy Suds Body Wash + Bubbling Bath - 2 oz Value $2.50
I was not crazy about seeing Dove shampoo and conditioner in this box (I have color-treated hair, so I avoid hair products with sulfates, and most drugstore brands use sulfates in their shampoos). I am always happy to see Bliss Blood Orange + White Pepper body wash though - I love the scent!
Verdict: I paid $39 for this box and received about $130 worth of beauty products (not counting the $10 price of the New Beauty magazine). I think the value is great (even though over half of that is from the Yun-Ka moisturizer), but as someone who has subscribed to New Beauty Test Tube for years now, I really wish they would introduce more new brands and products in each box! I'm just not as excited about this box as I used to be. What did you think of the New Beauty Test Tube this month?
