  1. You guys have got to stop promoting this company. This company is practicing shady business. Once you add your credit card information into their account, they won’t let you delete the account or remove your information from their website. Then they charge you whenever they want by charging you under a recurring bill payment instead of a standard monthly charge. If you try to contact them via telephone, they won’t answer the phone. They’ll respond via email but then they will lie to you and say it’s canceled–then charge you months later under alias. Please stop promoting this company! Just Google “Julep Cancellation”.

      I understand your frustrations and I have read several sites that have shown there is a difficult time with cancellations. I find when I am asked to leave a message, I wait 30 or so minutes and call back and most times I am able to speak with a live person. I encourage you to do that if you have not solved your situation.

      As for promotion, I am still a member and look forward to these posts. Liz is trying to accommodate us clients who may not know the secret shop is open. She provides unbiased views and provides all of her readers information they may not otherwise know.

      I wish you well and hope you are able to get things sorted out.

      • This complaint and demand to stop “promoting” Julep is quite frankly absurd. This isn’t an advertising site but a product review site of which the reviewers are customers as well. This is the same as saying “I had a bad waitress at Chili’s so no one should ever eat there, mention them or like them.” I can google literally any company and find complaints of some variety. So the fact Julep has them too is hardly a definitive measure of a company’s customer service and products. It sucks whenever you have a bad experience and we have all been there with one business or another. After reading the Julep rants on I guess I’m a bit irritated by the ignorant complaints there about how they were “illegally” charged after their first free box. Um, that’s what they all signed up for – a monthly subscription service. Then again, I’m an attorney so the willfully ignorant give me lifetime job security!

  3. I was also able to add an extra polish (not from secret store) and use the promo code POLISHPERK to get it free. It says the order must be $15+ and it can be used twice before 7/31. I haven’t had some other codes work in the same cart with Secret Store purchases but this one does!
