Bulu Box Weight Loss Subscription Review & Coupon – July 2014

Bulu Box is a monthly fitness and weight loss subscription box. Their original Bulu Box is focused more on fitness and supplements, and they also have a WeightLoss box that features healthy products and diet supplements. This review is of the Weightloss Bulu Box.

Bulu Box kindly sent me this box to review.

Bulu Box Weight Loss Subscription Review & Coupon – July FIrst Look

One thing I learned that I now have to recommend to any Bulu Box subscribers – the box is so much more valuable if you review the products in your box for points! (It’s as easy as Birchbox reviews for points, and you get 10 points ($1) per item. When you combine that with the 50% off coupon, the box is basically free!)

Bulu Box Weight Loss Subscription Review & Coupon – July Items

The Subscription Box: Bulu Box Weight Loss

The Cost: $10 (Less than $5 a box with the annual subscription and coupon code!)

The Products: Each box contains 4 to 5 premium weight loss items such as vitamin and supplement samples, fitness gear and healthy eating tools.

Check out my Bulu Box reviews and the Fitness Subscription Box Directory!

Bulu Box Weight Loss Subscription Review & Coupon – July Info

Each box comes with a card detailing the items in your box.

Bulu Box Weight Loss Subscription Review & Coupon – July Offers

Bulu Box usually also includes offers from fitness partners as well. This month included FitFusion (2 week free trial, credit card required), MoveMeFit (2 months free, $18 value, no credit card required) and a $10 coupon code to workout clothing site Cory Vines.

I signed up for MoveMeFit since I didn't have to enter credit card info, and it looks interesting, but I'm thinking all their content is available free on YouTube as well. And I wish they had an app so I could watch it via Roku or Apple TV - I hate doing workouts from my laptop.

Now onto the samples!

Bulu Box Weight Loss Subscription Review & Coupon – July Toniq

Toniq (Hangover Prevention) Packet (3 capsules) - Value $4

Helps Make It Easy Digestion (2 Tea Bags) - Value $.50

Rutaesomn Sleep Aid (1 Capsule) - Value $.60

I have yet to find a "hangover cure" pill that works - but I'll gladly give this Toniq one a try! (You take two capsules before drinking and one more the next morning).

This digestion tea is all organic with just a few ingredients, so I imagine it's good for you whether or not you need digestion help. But I'm a little skeptical of a sleep aid that "kicks caffeine out" - I'll just stick to not drinking caffeine in the evening!

Bulu Box Weight Loss Subscription Review & Coupon – July Supplement

Shapeology Burn Blend Dietary Supplement (4 capsules total) - Value $2.50

UP4 Labs Kid Cubes (4) - Value $1.50

These UP4 Kid Cubes are probiotic chews with Vitamin D. I would have eaten these immediately, but they are made with dairy.

Bulu Box Weight Loss Subscription Review & Coupon – July Synth

Ripped Cream Protein Coffee Creamer - Value $.50

Syntha-6 Isolate Protein Powder Drink Mix - Value $1.50

I guess they officially have protein powder for everything now if it's even in coffee creamer!

Verdict: This month's box has a value of about $11. (Or $29 if you count the two month subscription to MoveMeFit). I think it's a good value if you sign up with the 50% off coupon and get the box for $5 or less. Then when you add in the Bulu Box points you get for reviewing each item, it becomes a really good value. Not every item in the box is for me or what I'm looking for in a health/fitness product, but if I get to sample a few items and find ones I like then I can buy them with points in the Bulu Box shop! (They have a lot of different teas and snack bars I like in the shop).

What do you think of Bulu Box? Do you use their points system?

I just signed up for a years subscription and the 50% off promo code (BULUGAN669) still works!!!! That’s $55 for an entire year. I’m very excited to try this out!

This box doesn’t interest me at all – doesn’t seem like a good value, or a way to tell if this stuff really works. I cream my coffee with regular vanilla protein powder. And if you think that’s strange, you should look up the protein ketchup Skymall sells!
