Saffron Rouge Beauty Subscription Box Review – June 2014 Coconut

The Body Deli Coconut Creme Lotion - 2 oz Value $7

Primavera Energizing Ginger Lime Hand Cream - FULL SIZE! Value $24

I am in love with both of these lotions! Coconut and citrus and two of my favorite scents, and I can't stop smelling this decadent coconut lotion! I have the Primavera body oil in Ginger Lime, and love the scent but don't use it enough, so the lotion is much more useful for me!

Saffron Rouge Beauty Subscription Box Review – June 2014 Lipgloss

W3LL People Bio Extreme Lip Gloss - FULL SIZE! Value $21.50

W3LL People is one of my favorite brands, and their lip glosses are new to me, so this is a win! This lip gloss has tons of shine, no stickiness, and a nice minty flavor!

Saffron Rouge Beauty Subscription Box Review – June 2014 Blush

ilike Organic Skin Care Lemon Cleansing Milk - .5 oz Value $3

Vapour Organic Beauty Aura Multi Use Blush in Mystic - Sample

At first I was disappointed to see such a tiny Vapour blush sample, but it ended up being the perfect size for me. I learned that I love the formula, but this particular shade has too much micro-glitter in it for me. I'll need to try out a different shade.

This cleansing milk seemed very gentle when I tried it out, and I love the lemon scent too!

Verdict: This is one of my favorite Saffron Rouge boxes to date! I paid $25 for this box and received about $56 worth of natural beauty products. Plus I love everything! What did you think of Saffron Rouge Inner Circle this month?

btw, the “blush” sample looks amazing on the lips and the full size is (sadly) $36.00!

I received my box today, and I am VERY pleasantly surprised! I am so glad I got the lip gloss, body lotion in Amber Vanilla, and hand lotion. I will also use the cleansing milk and the blush sample as a lip gloss. Inner Circle is a keeper! Can’t wait for July!

I too was alittle disappointed in this box. I usually love Saffron Rouge but the samples this month were pretty small and nothing really stood out for me. I did love the hand and nail cream because I love the scent ( got the oil from a previous box and fell in love with this scent!) and really loved the scent of that coconut lotion….it smelled so good! But the lip gloss smelled so OFF to me, hated this minty nasty flavor. I don’t know what I’m going to do with that….and the blush sample was just so SMALL! I already have Ipsy and Glossybox so I think it’s time to cut back and cancel….

I’m now thinking of canceling to … I really like the natural products, yet I’m looking for a little more value. I’m thinking of boxycharm, not sure if it is possible to skip a month with saffron rouge or not. This month was much better then last month ( or at least to me it was ) I just like the mini samples.

I was also a bit disappointed/underwhelmed (again) this month. It’s not that the products aren’t good quality; it’s that the product size seems to be shrinking each month. The retail values are significantly overinflated, more so than other beauty subs IMO (seriously, $26 for a small tube of hand lotion? $21.50 for clear lip gloss?) . Add to it the fact that 2/3 of the remaining products are minuscule samples and for me it stops being worth $25/month, natural-organic or not. Past boxes used to look substantially different than the last 3 months. I’m starting to wonder what caused the change….

I was pretty happy with my box but wish I had gotten the lotion in coconut—I got Amber Vanila—it’s ok, but vanilla is probably my least favorite of all the fragrences they offered…Would love to swap if anyone is interested!

My box was similar except my lotion was Vanilla, which normally I like, but the scent was too strong/sweet for me when I smelled it so it will go in the swap pile. I may use the blush as more of a body glitter/shimmer and a little seems to go a long way do I don’t mind he small size. I like Eminence Organics lemon cleanser and Ilike used to be related to that company in some way do I’m looking forward to trying their formulation. Clear lip gloss seems good to have around and am always looking for a great hand cream. I just wish SR represented a wider range of brands so that I could discover more great companies, but I’d still opt for quality over quantity.

Got the same items. I loved the lime-ginger hand cream but wasn’t too impressed by everything else, so I decided to cancel. I don’t like coconut-scented items, so wasn’t into the lotion. I haven’t tried the lip gloss, but it seemed really liquid to me–maybe because it had been out in the heat? Agreed that the blush was way too small. And the face wash seemed small, too. I think i just didn’t like getting two body products, one face product, and two makeup items, one of which was super tiny.
So this is my second and last month. If the price was lower, I’d stay with it, but for $24.99, I want to like more than one item.
Should I try Petit Vour maybe?

The cleanser and lotion are repeats for me. Like them both just thinking this month is so-so. I agree that blush is too sparkly. Looks more like eyeshadow, very pretty but not my style. Will give another month and then cancel if more of the same.

I am in agreement on all accounts! I love the lotion and hand creams! I wish they would put more of these in all my sub. boxes. I can never get enough of a great lotion or hand cream. They seem to just soak into my skin and so on and so!!! LOL. The sample of the blush was way too small especially since it is my color. I like to be able to try items at least 4-5 times to make sure I don’t break out and it flows with my skin. I too like the lip gloss and also glad to have a clear one. It makes my lips shine and boosts my own natural color!! Thanks Liz for sharing.

I got the same box as you. I love it! All the items I will use.

I’m glad the lip gloss is clear …. bored with colored lip glosses that I don’t like the color of. Plus it’s summer and clear and natural is more my style.

I do miss the mess bag that I’m used to getting in these boxes. Makes keeping the goodies in the box more organized.

I’m not thrilled with how the sample blush looks, yet I’ll try it. I normally don’t wear blush so I was happy to see the sample size.

I wish the value was a bit higher, but besides that this box is full of stuff I’ll use. 🙂

Last month was so bla, I was tempted to cancel. I’m glad I didn’t because this month was a winner!

Saffron Rouge and Petit Vour are win wins. It is nice not to see the standard boring drugstore brands and see consistancy in the boxes month after month.
