Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon - June 2014 Magazine

The box also comes with a mini-mag with articles and details on the items included. (They did a digital mag last month but it looks like they are already back to the paper version).

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon - June 2014 Figure

Hasbro & The Loyal Subjects Tranformers Blind Box - Value $12

We got Optimus Prime in our blind box, and from the product listing it looks like there are six different variants that you could get.

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon - June 2014 Shirt

Marty McPrime Shirt - Value $26.50

I think my husband would have preferred this shirt to be just Back to the Future, but it is an interesting mash-up!

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon - June 2014 Sticker

The Loyal Subjects Transformer Sticker, Loot Crate Button, and Warheads Candy

Transformers Hex Bug - Value $7

Loot Crate always includes a sticker or two, a pin for the theme of the box, and usually some candy. I'm not really sure there's much value to them, but they are fun bonus items.

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon - June 2014 MLG

MLG sticker set, wrist band and one month of Game Battles Premium - Value $10?

Major League Gaming is a video game site where you can compete with other gamers for cash prizes.

Verdict: This month's box has value of about $56 - definitely a great value for Loot Crate. Personally this box wasn't a big hit for me or my husband because we aren't Transformers fans, but we'll be gifting or swapping the items.

What did you think of the Transform Loot Crate box this month?

I’ve been debating about canceling my subscription to Loot Crate lately. I may let it go on for another month but if it’s a loss to me, I’ll end up canceling. I like the idea behind it and I do prefer it in comparison to Nerd Block (which I’ve been keeping my eye on for months as well) but it’s just been so many misses for me. I like Transformers but I don’t like hex bugs & I hate the color red so even though the shirt was cool, it’s not something I will be wearing. I ended up gifting the hex bug to my nephew who wanted it.

I think their old boxes were better. I was excited for their Dragon theme a few months ago but completely disappointed when their wasn’t even a dragon figurine in the box. Instead it was a bunch of useless things for me.

I received mine yesterday, and it was the last one of my 3-month sub. I was a little shocked when I picked up the box and it actually felt heavy in comparison to the last few crates I’ve received from them.

Although I’m not a huge Transformers fan either, this box was a win for me due to the higher value. I was also happy to receive Bumblebee as my mystery figure. This almost makes up for receiving Joffrey a few months back… Everyone’s least favorite GoT character! lol

I may re-sub in a few months. Their customer service has been great. They’re fast to respond, and they replaced my broken Adventure Time Tin without any hassle. This is also one box where I don’t have to worry about anything melting in the Florida summer!

My son’s box arrived today. He received Thundercracker as the blind item. Crosshairs is the hexbug nano. He will be wearing his t-shirt to the movie. The warheads are already eaten. He gave this box a two thumbs up. This is from a teen’s perspective.
