Taste Trunk is a monthly gourmet food subscription box. They offer 4 different types of boxes: Gourmet, Sweets, Health or BBQ. This review is of the Gourmet box.

I would definitely recommend this box if you need a gift food subscription - the packaging and presentation are great!

Each box comes with cards detailing the food makers included, and sometimes they include a recipe.

Gourmet du Village Lemon Dill Dip Mix - Retail Value $9

Gourmet du Village Dip Dish & Spreader - Retail Value $10

This dip mix requires some dairy added, so I won't be using it, but I think it will make a great gift paired with this dish and spreader set!

Lillie's Q Barbeque Sauces in Carolina - Value $12.50

Gourmet du Village Provence Seasoned Sea Salt - Value $6

This salt is just sea salt and herbs - perfect for easy chicken roasting! (And this BBQ sauce looks amazing too!)

Torie & Howard Organic Hard Candy in Pink Grapefruit & Tupelo Honey - Value $5

These candies are so good! (I'm trying to cut back on sugar, but at least these are organic!)

Verdict: I paid $29 plus $6 shipping for this box and received approximately $42 worth of gourmet items. I think the value is pretty good, but I'd say this box is more about the curation and presentation. We've enjoyed just about every new brand we've discovered through Taste Trunk, so I'm happy with this subscription. What do you think of the May Gourmet Taste Trunk?
