I just got my box from this deal. It seems to be different from the regular sub. I received two pieces ear rings and a necklace, included was a card detailing how to join the VIP sub. So I don’t think I’ll be getting the welcome gift that’s included when you first join. Also The packaging was different from how Liz’s arrive. It came in a pink box

It sounds like you got the same set I did with this deal. I was disappointed in the quality. The necklace chain was crimped slightly in three spots! The style is not really me either. I wish they would’ve sent two different pieces instead of matching the earrings and necklace. I hope this isn’t what they send for the $39.95/ month.

I subscribed to Cate and Chloe for several months. All their jewelry is beautiful but it is not constructed for longevity. My earring posts bent and two (different types) of chains broke on 2 pendant necklaces. I am not hard on my jewelry and it is packed carefully away when I am not wearing it so I was disappointed. It’s all so gorgeous, though, so it’s too bad its not better quality.

Just subbed and listed you as my referral – I’ve thought about trying them forever so this was the perfect kick in the pants to just do it. Thanks for passing it along!

Oh, yes. Had to buy this deal for sure. I received one C&C piece in a trade, and I was impressed… it is very well made. I do think their “List Prices” shown on the website (which nobody ever pays) are ridiculous, and that is something that annoys me about the company. According to their retail pricing, we would be getting $200 worth of jewelry for $15.20 shipped in this deal. (Actually a little less, because I used ebates to link to LivingSocial for an additional 6% cash back today.) No business would survive if that pricing were accurate… but I do think they could say a 2-pc box is worth maybe $60, so it’s still a great deal.

I’ve been eyeing this sub for a while. It will be nice to try it on the cheap. Thank you Liz and Lynsey!

I just bought this and headed to the C&C site. It says my code isn’t valid! Am I doing something wrong?

Katie

It adds a space to the end of the code when you copy and paste it. Hit backspace and it should work.

Nm, I figured it out. I had to click the link from the LS email, and not from MSA. I did however enter your name Liz as the one who referred me.

If anyone wants to subscribe, you can get 10% off going forward (not on your first box) if someone referred you. I’d be happy to give you my name because I would get 10% off as well. Let me know. Thanks.

Well, actually that’s a little rude…don’t you think? Liz is actually the one referring them and should be the one getting the referral! I’m sorry I just think that is extremely rude and inappropriate…you should never go on someone else’s blog/review post and ask for referrals…start your on blog and invest all the money, time, hard work etc… then you can rep the benefits by getting referral bonuses…etc!!
