BoxyCharm Beauty Subscription Box Review – June 2014
BoxyCharm is a full-size and deluxe-size makeup and beauty subscription box. When they first started they were featuring drugstore brands like Revlon and L’Oreal, but lately they’ve been using mid-tier and high-end brands. (If you check out my earlier BoxyCharm reviews, you can definitely see the improvement in curation!)
BoxyCharm kindly sent me this box to review.
The Subscription Box: BoxyCharm
The Cost: $21 a month
The Products: 5-6 drugstore beauty items that will include nail care, skin care, makeup, haircare, fragrance and more. (At least 4 of those items will be full-sized).
Ships to: US
Each box comes with a card detailing the products included.
Tarte Cheek Stain in Blushing Bride – Value $30
I’m so excited about this item! I love Tarte, so it’s already a win, and I wanted to try this cheek stain in a different color than the coral shade I received in my POPSUGAR Must Have Summer Special Edition box, so it is perfect! I also like that this cheek stain goes on sheer enough to not let you make mistakes and have clown cheeks!
Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara – Value $8
When BoxyCharm first started they were sending some drugstore items that were from a few seasons ago, so I’m really happy to see that the only drugstore item in the box is a brand new mascara from Revlon.
Strange Beautiful Nail Lacquer Duo – Value $18
The theme this month is Bridal Beauty, and I think these shades are a perfect addition to the box!
Tarina Tarantino Eye Dream HyperLight – Value $22
I just tried this Eye Dream Hyper Light this morning, and so far I’m a fan. (I just tried it on the brow bone, but I’m curious to see how it works under eye concealer).
Verdict: This may be my favorite box from BoxyCharm yet! The value is over $90, and I love so many of the products they included. What do you think of the June BoxyCharm box?
