I just wanted to let you know that this company is ripping people off. I have been trying to sort out an issue with them for the past week, here is a run down of what has happened.
I just moved and I changed my address on the website the only place you can change it. I get the tracking info for my August boxes, I’m subscribed to three boxes, and I check to see where my boxes are. Tracking info says they’ve been delivered, they shipped them to the old address though.
Obviously I’m pretty disappointed so I email them letting them know what happened. They respond saying that I should have emailed them to change my shipping address and that if I want my August boxes I will have to pay $6 more per box for them to be shipped to the correct address, the address that I had already changed on their website which says NOTHING anywhere as far as having to email them to change your shipping location.
I let them know that I thought it was pretty messed up how they were handling this situation considering it was their error and their website issues that caused it to happen. To which they let me know that they would be adding a note to their website to email them if you need to change your shipping address. Yet are still requiring that I pay them another $18 on top of the already $70+ that I paid for my August boxes.
Now they’ve stopped responding to me and are censoring me from their Facebook page.
I’ve been all over the internet and have found MANY other people having issues with this company. They are gaining a very bad reputation and I can’t see how any other company could want to be associated with them.

Hi Samantha. I was also ripped off by them, as were thousands. If you’d like to talk about this more, please search urthbox on Facebook and you’ll see my public post. We are a growing group, with more than 60 people who are talking about this. They sign people up for hundreds of dollars for a 6 month subscription. Their customer service is terrible.

Great deal! Had a $10 coupon from Love With Food (if you sign up for a new account, even with the $2 first box shipped, you can get a free $10 LS credit), so I got it for $39 for 3 months. I am super excited.

I got this box the last time they had a deal. I really enjoy it. It’s a great box & they packed it full. Best of all, they ship it 2 day priority & send you tracking. Nothing I hate more than waiting a month for my box to travel across the nation…. Also, the customer service is excellent. I wanted gluten free vegan but you can only get one or the other. They suggested I go with vegan since most of the items are gluten free. It’s a little expensive on the regular plan but these deals are worth it.

When do they ship? cause I am supposed to get one this month but still haven’t. I emailed them today and had verified with them upon signing up few weeks ago… that I would indeed get this month.

I’m on the last month of a GiltCity subscription to UrthBox. I got a shipping e-mail this week. But I didn’t get a tracking e-mail for my very first box. Anyway, they just shipped like this week or the end of last week so you’ll probably get yours soon.
