Has anyone received theirs yet? My oil cleanser came in a box by itself today and it makes me worried thanks to juleps horrendous shipping lately.

I got mine two days ago as well. I ordered #6 and $9. Both were just kinda thrown in a very large box. I’m surprised the #9 didn’t break.

My box arrived 2 days ago. The cleansing oil was in the same box as the mystery box.

I opted for #3 and #10…beach and the coral polish boxes. I canceled my subscription with them last month since on average I was only ordering a box ever few months and realized the normal sub wasn’t for me anymore…so I don’t feel bad about ordering these gambles 😉

Oh, and I also used the “oilperk” code – I think the reason it wasn’t working for some is because you had to have the actual oil cleanser already in your basket and then apply the code. It took off the full price for me (again, ex-Maven here), so $28 😀

Yay Julep!

I got boxes 6, 7, and 8! This is my first month so naturally I’m really exited and want to buy everything!!

I tried a promo code (PERK10- $10 off $20) and it didn’t work. It says it expires May 31. Do promo codes not work on mystery boxes?

I ended up using the oilperk promo and got a free cleanser so that is still a plus 🙂

I went ahead and added Mystery Box #1, 4 and 8 as well as the cleansing oil that is free with the ‘oilperk’ code, which is fantastic! Thank you for telling me about the promotion code, cause that is a steal! So excited to see what’s in these boxes 🙂

Another thanks to those who posted about OILPERK. I added the $28.00 bottle into my order and received that for free.

I ordered Sparkle and Shine for one daughter, 2 healthy Hi-fives (one for me and one as a XMAS gift….I purchase several different mystery boxes throughout the year then put them all in the same size bags and make cousins, Aunt, mom, sister all just pick going from oldest to youngest….a lot of fun), and then the breathe easy box for my other daughter!

I’m not a subscriber. Have been wary because of the “only skip once every 6 months” thing for newbies. But, they seem to have mystery boxes often enough that I don’t necessarily have to subscribe to try their products. Can buy one without further commitment.

One benefit I’ve found to be useful is the free shipping on any purchase as a maven. As far as skipping, I can only skip once every 6 months. Which is irritating because by the time 6 months comes around I’ve collected to much stuff. There are also plenty of Julep products on swap.

Helen

I phoned Julep and explained that I couldn’t afford to be a customer if I was forced to buy 5 out of every 6 month’s offerings. They added a skip function. Don’t know if that would work for anyone else.

Danielle

Oilperk just worked for me, I had to add the item first, $28 and then after I added the coupon code they took the cost of it off. So my total was only $25!!

I got Mystery box #3, the beach themed one. And added the oil for free using oilperk – lowercase letters.

Just tried box #3 and used code: oilperk – lowercase letters – it still did not work.

Just tried to use OILPERK and it isn’t valid anymore. It’s 1:33 est on May 25.

It still works – just worked for me at 2:30est on 5/25. I added the face oil to my cart first and then applied the PC, which deducted the cost of the oil, $22.40 member price, from my total. Hope that helps. (If not, did you take a June Maven box? Sometimes codes only work if you bought the most recent month’s box.)

Thank You – The code worked, had no idea I had to ad the product, and then use the code. I’m thinking of getting mystery box 6 and mystery box 10.

I also tried it, and it’s not working for me either.

I just used it. You have to put the oil in your basket then apply it. It won’t add it for you…

Thank you all so much for posting the OILPERK promo code. I’m about out of my face cleanser and am still looking for the perfect thing….I can’t wait to try this one. I ended up getting box #4. My cuticles are always such a mess and I read up on the reviews on the Vanish treatment and it does seem to work rather well.

I missed the chance to join Maven before they took away the option to skip boxes so these mystery boxes are always a treat to me but gosh, they are just too tempting. 😛

Thanks, Lily, for the great promo code. Bought box #4 and used oilperk for the free cleansing oil. It’s an amazing deal and I love surprises!

Oh no, not another julep mystery box. – I decided not to get ad on mystery box on the monthly box. I did end up getting 2 mystery nail polishes and another nail polish to get the surprise gift. — I did not like my past 2 mystery boxes, I keep telling myself I won’t get another, yet once again …. I’m thinking about it.

I wanted some nail care products rather than tons of polish or makeup so I got #4. I used OILPERK too, so it makes the price a good deal. Can’t wait to see what else there is. I hope they include the cuticle oil.

Lindsey

I suspect that #4 has the two products shown and 5 nail polishes … at least, the price breaks out to that….also, with the clue, it says “to get you ready for what else is in the box”. Just a guess, though — guess we’ll find out when the boxes arrive!

I love their cleansing oil but don’t think it’s worth their retail price, so I grabbed #5 and used OILPERK for an additional cleansing oil – 2 cleansing oils plus a konjac sponge is definitely worth $25 to me, so everything else will just be bonus!
