Julep Maven Selection Time for June!

Can remember what the surprise gift was with 3 ad ons? – They are giving a surprise gift again this month with 3 ad ons.

I just got my maven box. My box was the nicest yet, more summerish colors paper wrapping/stuffing paper, they even included my favorite yummy sugar sticks. I got the box with 3 nail polishes, chose 3 ad ons, one was a copper color and the 2 other where surprises. The surprise nail colors included a grey purple one I like, a darker pink one which I like an orange one that is nice yet not for me, that one I just put up for swap, overall this was one of the best boxes I got since I started getting boxes in April. Hope they continue with the better boxes.

This is my first month with Julep so this was a completely new subscription experience for me. I’m used to filling out the questionnaire and getting what I get. The customizable option is really nice but there are so many options it was a little crazy (I changed my selections like 5 times) and you could easily spend waaay too much money.

It seems like their products are a bit pricey but after I try out a couple boxes I’m hoping that the price is worth it. Especially since you can swap items and then wait until the secret sale to see if other items you were interested in are on sale.

The maven selection for the june box ends on the 24th. Does anyone know what the mystery gift will be if 3 ad on will added ? I keep saying I don’t want another mystery bag … yet once again I’m tempted by the price, also keep wondering if I’m missing something good if I don’t get it. I just noticed some of the ad on are sold out already. To many ad on’s this month for me, can’t decide.

Meh…nothing struck my fancy at all and I skipped, especially after the delay this past month.

I ended up going customizable for the 3 months at 19.99. I figured why the heck not. I was not 100% happy with any of my choices and then the second I changed I got what I wanted. I chose Arianna and Jennine for my box with the base coat. I then added Katerina where I had once had Jennine and then I added the Trina/Sienna set and the fan. I looked at my order and was 100% satisfied.

As far as the polishes going up $2 as add one, I can accept that. They left previous set polishes at $4.99 and just made the brand new ones $6.99. I would prefer if it hadn’t changed, but I think its acceptable.

I’m really not happy about the sneaky increase in price for all the add-ons.

I ended up switching to the customized box! I always like a few of the polishes but never the combos they provide. I’m happy with my selections and that you still can skip when you want!

I went for the new Maven Luxe subscription and their 3 month prepaid option. I always end up upgrading and adding extras so it made sense to take the Luxe subscription. Wow, Julep did some serious add-ons this month! It’s overwhelming, but in a fun way and I had to think about what I really wanted for this month. In the end, I upgraded (loving the soft colors currently going around), got the time machine, and some old nail polish that I missed out on a few months ago. How exciting!

Has anyone done the swaps? I’m not seeing that option when I login, I thought it was supposed to be right on the main screen after you select the style?

Where did you notice the surprise gifts with the add-ons? I added three items and I didn’t notice anything.

I just got the email this morning. My maven account is not personalised because I get the subscription with the 3 nail polishes if I don’t like 1 of them I can always swap it or layer it. I like the colors this month. I did do an ad on with the copper color nail polish.

I agree, I too felt overwelmed with all the ad ons this month. I ended up looking for reviews on 1/2 the nail polish colors before adding on the copper color. I was thinking of getting a mystery color to, yet after the golden ticket box I really am hesitant to try any other “mystery” item with Julep.
