Julep Mystery Box Time!

It's Julep Mystery Box Time again! This month they are offering three different Golden Ticket Mystery Boxes - with no overlap between boxes. Not only is there no overlap between box versions, all nail polish and beauty products featured in the Golden Ticket Mystery Boxes are NEW to mystery boxes this year!

Three lucky winners will find a gold-capped, confetti-filled polish bottle inside—a golden ticket! If you find it, you’ll get to name a Julep polish from an upcoming Maven collection. Once it’s released, you'll get 25 bottles to share with friends.

The Box: Julep Golden Ticket Mystery Box

The Cost: $24.99 (free shipping if you are a Julep Maven subscriber)

COUPON: Add a nail polish of your choice to your cart, then apply coupon code PERK2FOR1 to get the polish free with your mystery box purchase!

The Products: $100+ worth of nail polish and beauty items.

Are you grabbing a Golden Ticket Mystery box?

Is anyone else having a difficult time using their coupons that you get in your boxes? (I don’t always get them but I got a 50% off coupon) & it keeps saying it is INVALID. But it is good until September 30th.

Has anyone else received their golden ticket mystery box? I got mine and the value is not there. I only got 2 lip glosses and 1 package of seeds! A $37 value ( which is based on retail value – not maven discount value ) ! ——UGHHH!

Lily they definitely owe you five polishes Looks like you’re getting some glamorous ones (you picked box #3?), here’s a peek: http://www.evolutionofafoodie.com/2014/05/julep-golden-ticket-mystery-box-spoilers.html. This spoiler is accurate to what I got in box #2. Sounds like someone forgot to pack half of your box… 🙁

I did, the value was there for me, but only because my 50% coupon worked. I am not happy with it though. I got 2 seed packets, the halo ornament gloss(hello Christmas leftovers!). I did get 7 polishes, but all but 1are for winter/fall and are super discounted on their site. No more mysteries for me! Also let me add that I got so much because I also did the major mystery add on.

Amy: Glad I’m not the only one frustrated. I got the last mystery box, I was okay with it, not thrilled with it, I was hoping that this would have been much better based on how it was advertised. It was worse. — Ughh Christmas lipgloss, bla humbug. I opened the box and I was speechless. I did not get any other items in golden ticket box besides that and the seeds, i kept sifting though the paper hoping I’d find something else. Which did not happen.

I wanted to do a major mystery add on, yet decided to skip it, glad I did based on what you got.

What irritates me most is how they advertised it, made me think this would be something special.

I bought box 1 & 3 as well as the two box upgrades. Has anyone ever done a mystery box upgrade? If so, how was it????

Just used PERK2for1 and it worked just fine…free May birthstone polish!!

Amy

Brandy, give it a try. The only reason I did is because I wasn’t going to buy one and told myself the only way I would was if the code worked. And I was positive that it wouldn’t.

Brandy

I did try it but it said that it wasn’t valid. I tried to add individual polishes and it would work just with those, but not the cost of the box.

Just trued “PERK2FOR1” does not work. I added “Alaina” which is full price so it should have worked. Maybe it is expired.

Juleps Mystery boxes are addicting.

Brandy

PERK10 works for $10 off.

Thank You for saving me $10 🙂 – It worked 🙂

Jen

I really just want that star polish. Too bad I can’t buy it 🙁

I was really trying to be good this month, but I just had to! I just bought the Limited Edition box from Beauty Box 5 (because I just started a subscription so I won’t have anything that is going to be in that box) and I’m a sucker for mystery boxes. I got box #3, the major mystery add on, and I used the code to get the emerald polish for May for free!!

Samantha

Ek I got both #1 and # 2!

Mandi

I’d consider it… if they’d sent me my May Maven box already.

Vanessa

Any ideas at what is different between boxes? Idk which one to choose..

Heidi

My May box took forever to get to me. Usually I receive a shipping notice on the 28th and receive my box BY the 1st of the next month. And from reading the description of this mystery box, oohh just what I want; a bunch of products sitting around since last year. I’ve been with them since January 2013 and every mystery box I get is a bunch of leftovers from their sale section and/or recent items from subscription boxes I already have. I’m so over the mystery boxes but they are great for people new to Julep.

Brandy

I really hope that what comes is pretty good. I wasn’t going to get one but being that the stuff would be new to mystery boxes made me curious. I just hope it isn’t a bunch of frumpy, dumpy colors.

Anna

The last mystery box I got had 4 polishes, a lip gloss, lip primer and a couple samples of beauty product. Part of the fun is the surprise though!

I think i might get it! Box #2 for me

Sneaky Burrito

This is tempting. And I just got off the swap waiting list in case there is something I don’t love. But I promised myself no more online shopping for awhile. I went a little crazy last month.

Amy

I feel your pain. I did get box #3 and the major mystery add on but I had a 50% off code from my first box which I didn’t think would work, but it did so I only paid $21.00! I have a 30% off code I won’t be using, if you give me your email address I will email it to you.

Amy, do you still have the other coupon that you’re not using? Would love to get one of the boxes but none of the codes are working for me.

Sneaky Burrito

Thanks for the offer but if I don’t stick to my promise re: shopping, it’ll just be a slippery slope. First this, and then the next great offer I see on this site, and then a few things from Amazon, and then a couple of fateful clicks on promotional e-mails, and then my credit card will be maxed out…

I’ll content myself with the April Glossybox that finally arrived (another example of giving in to temptation — Liz’s newsletter codes were SO GOOD) and figuring out what to do with white nailpolish.

Brandy

I also have a 50% off coupon but it doesn’t work. Never used it yet and it expires 6/30/14, but it says not valid on Mystery Boxes.

Gina

Wow, Amy, I just bought a ridiculous amount of Julep merchandise after reading your comment and realizing I had the same coupon. Thanks for posting! And thanks to Liz as always, too!
