jlf-fancy-box-april-card Fancy has updated their cards - instead of a small card for each item, you now get a folded card detailing everything in the box, and each item has a quote from JLH on why she picked it! Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Review - April 2014 Necklace Cast Crystal Point Necklace - Value $34 There have been a few Amano Studio pieces featured in Fancy boxes lately, but fortunately for me I love their style of jewelry so it's a win! Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Review - April 2014 Cargo Cargo Cosmetics Essential Lip Gloss - Value $16 Based on this month and last month, I'd say Jennifer Love Hewitt is a Cargo Cosmetics fan! Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Review - April 2014 Evo Evo Haze Styling Powder - Retail Value $28 ($17.25 on Amazon) I have to admit, when I first saw this product, I was happy to get more dry shampoo, but I didn't look too closely at it. Then when I went to get a link for the product, I saw all these 5 star reviews on Amazon and realized this isn't dry shampoo - it's styling powder. Everyone said it gave crazy volume to hair, so I had to try it out! The powder is just like a dry shampoo powder, but when I applied it to my hair it was slightly tacky to the touch. I have to agree that the volume is great - I think I may get addicted to this product. (We'll see how it lasts though out the day tomorrow though before I commit!) Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Review - April 2014 Hair Pins   First Date Bobby Pins - Value $7 SoleMates High Heeler 1 Pair - Value $10 I normally don't wear bobby pins, but these three look so cute stacked together I think I'm its time for me to start wearing bobby pins! Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $95 - I'm happy with the value and the contents, and I think I may have discovered my favorite new hair styling product thanks to this box! What did you think of the April 2014 Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box?

  1. Those solemates have shown up in a few boxes lately, haven’t they?

I took care of the heels sinking into the grass thing. I married someone shorter than me and stopped wearing heels! LOL!

  2. Cute box! I actually got that same Cargo Lipgloss in my Allure Beauty Box, and got a pair of those Solemates ‘heel savers’ for grass when I was in a wedding a month ago.. definitely good items!

  3. Off topic, but I’ve been having intermittent problems connecting to this site. Doesn’t seem to matter what computer/OS/browser I’m using or whether I’m at work or at home. And it doesn’t happen every time (obviously, or I wouldn’t be posting this comment). Here is a screenshot of the error I’ve been getting:

  4. What a great box! And styling powder–a little REALLY DOES go a long way. I have Osis Dust It, and put tape over more than half of the holes (it’s like a salt shaker) to limit how much product comes out. Seriously–you do NOT need a lot! I’ve heard if you use too much, it makes your hair feel really weird, too. I’ll have to check out this brand!

    • I have the Osis too, and that stuff does not wash out! When I went to get my hair cut, my hairdresser was like “what have you been putting in your hair??” He told me not to use it anymore. LOL

  5. I went with Coco Rocha instead of JLH and now I’m regretting it! Still no Coco box for April (What’s with all the subscription shipping snafus lately? Clearly they can’t keep up with the business you send their way!!) and this box is perfect! Not one thing I couldn’t or wouldn’t use!! Argh – guess that’s what swapping is for!
