Barkbox Review & Coupon Code - April 2014 Info

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included for the month.

Barkbox Review & Coupon Code - April 2014 Toy

Go Dog Unimals - Value $10

Our dog played with this for about a minute until he realized there were treats in the BarkBox that needed his full attention!

Barkbox Review & Coupon Code - April 2014 Barkworthies

Mr. BarkSmith's Cool Treats All Natural Smoothies For Dogs in Carrot Cake - Value $2

Barkworthies Chew - Value $3

Our dog has developed a love of Barkworthies chews thanks to BarkBox, so while I typically don't like repeats in boxes, we can't complain about getting a new Barkworthies chew each month!

Barkbox Review & Coupon Code - April 2014 Treat

Off Leash Smokey Beef Recipe Treats - Value $6

Etta Says! Duck Meat Treat - Value $12

We haven't tried the Duck Meat treats yet, but our dog is already a fan of the Smokey Beef recipe! (And I'm happy that they are tiny training size pieces!)

Verdict: We paid $17 for this box (6 month subscription) and received about $33 worth of items. I'm happy with the value, and our dog is very picky when it comes to treats, so this box is extra valuable to us!

What did your pup get in their BarkBox this month?

Yup, I will be forever a Barkbox subscriber. Those off-leash treats were plentiful and smelled good! I hid them for my dog to find them. Good value box, I pay 6 months in advance at $17/month, the most cost-effective, where I would run to the store and by treats and toys anyway why not get boxes shipped to me and not have to think about it? Good quality treats with natural ingredients are pricy plus a good quality toy, so this box is worth the price to keep the puppychild happy and feeling loved. The only thing I don’t always agree with is once in a blue moon an item would be something for the pet parent for petcare and not for the pet to enjoy/eat.

I have two subscriptions, one for my small dog (6 lbs) and one for my large dog (85+ lbs). I got the same stuff in mine for my small dog, the toy was a different animal, but same product. My large dog got a similar toy but more durable for his teeth. They both got the frozen fruit puree treat and the tendon chews (different sizes), but the rest of the treats were different (fitting for their size difference). I love BarkBox. I initially just got one subscription for my large breed and after 3 months of loving every box, I decided to get my small breed his own box, too. They both love everything they’ve received so far!

We re-subscribed when they had that great deal during March Madness. I stopped subscribing b/c we were typically able to find the stuff coming in the boxes for cheaper. But with this deal, it sounded like fun.

I love those off-leash treats for training! For some reason, there’s a TJ Maxx near us that regularly has a bag of them for $2.99 and we stock up when they have them

Mine was a little different as well! I have the small dog box too. My dogs still liked it though, and they made a mess with the smoothie! Lol

How do you get pictures of the monthly unveiling without a dog nose in the picture? LOL. We sure do love BarkBox and your blog! Thank you for always sharing and introducing us to new fabulous find.

OMG – I have so many outtake pictures with a dog nose creeping into the shot! 🙂 (Even non-dog boxes, because thanks to BarkBox he needs to know what’s in every single box!)

Just wondering if all the treats are made in the USA. I wouldn’t feed a dog anything that does not state “made in the USA” on the label.

Everything but the Off-Leash treats are made in the USA, the Off-Leash treats are made in Canada, which I would definitely trust as well.

I really want Barkbox, it looks like a great value and it’s all stuff we’d give our dog. But he doesn’t destroy toys (so we have a ton of them) and his favorite snacks are carrots, so I have a hard time justifying the cost! We do buy him bully sticks when we re-order his food (online because he’s a special snowflake and has allergies…)

Barkbox has had one of the most consistent values of any box I have tried so far (maybe because my dogs aren’t as picky as me). I got my first Barkworthy this month and broke it in half for my two to enjoy. One had no problems at all with it, but my other threw it up soon after eating and gagged about three more times that night. She is pretty sensitive, so I don’t blame the product, but it is something to be aware of if you have a dog like that. I feed them bully sticks all the time, and that’s what I thought this was, but I think it might be tendon instead, which is more splintery.

I’ve got a big dog, and I agree… we love getting the Barkworthies chew every month.

My daughter froze the smoothie for our pup… and then took it out, tasted it and ate it herself! It’s all fruit puree. So I have no idea if the mutt would have liked it, but the kid did.

The rest of our items were all different.

I’m impressed every month we get our Barkbox. I subscribed last month for a second box when they had a promotion too good to pass up. It was awesome because we got different stuff in the second box. We have a ritual where I take my 3 dogs outside to open their box! They dig the bully sticks and toys out fast and run around the yard with them. My favorite box because the pups are so happy!
