Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Subscription Box Review - March 2014 LaFace

LAFACE Hydrating & Firming Body Lotion - .236 oz Value $3

I.C.O.N. India Oil - 10 ml Value $3.50

I put the smallest drop of this India Oil on my hair and I could immediately feel a difference in softness! I think this little bottle will actually last me a long time!

Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Subscription Box Review - March 2014 Nail Wraps

NCLA Nail Wraps - Value $16

I must confess I still have a few sets of these Nail Wraps in different patterns I have yet to use, so I think these are going in the swap pile. (I do love the print though!)

Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Subscription Box Review - March 2014 Skincare

California Naturel Skincare Set Sampler - Value $3?

Lotus Wei Balancing Serum - 10 ml Value $10

I just tried the Nourishing Cream from this sampler and absolutely love the natural scent and how quickly it absorbs. I just wish these samples were a little bigger! (This Lotus Wei Joy Juice is now my favorite scent from their line too!)

Verdict: This box has a value of about $36. I think the value is great, and so far I've loved everything I've sampled! (I just wish this box had included a full-size makeup item - I think I've been spoiled by past boxes!)

What did you think of the March Petit Vour box?

I just got a confirmation that my APRIL box shipped, oh my, I don’t even remember signing up for this – I think I dream subscription boxes. I came on here to read the reviews, which I read already and am wondering why I ordered this particular box, nothing pops at me. Oh well, it’s on it’s way and it was nice to see the company responding to posts on here.

I’m new to subscription boxes. I can see how addicting they are :). Liz your site is fantastic! You’ve done so much research, your blog posts are very helpful.

I just signed up for Eco Emi and petit vour . Waiting my first boxes. That alone is a total of $30 a month. Wow these things ad up quick! —
—- Just wondering which subscription box will be the best value if I kept my subscription? Or if anyone can recommend 1 other vegan/eco friendly box with beauty products that would be less then $30.

My first box is Julep which I adore. The Saffron Rouge box even though I have not gotten my first box seems like a win, win. I’m also on a waiting list for Ipsy.

Thank You

GoodeBox and Vegan Cuts Beauty Box are two other great eco-friendly boxes! 🙂

Thank you for the suggestion:) I just looked at Vegan Cuts. The value seems great! I also like their website. I think I’m gonna drop eco-emi after a few months. ( I’m not fond of reoccuring paypal payments. ) Then try out vegan cuts.

I hate to sound negative also but I really disliked this box too. I hate nail art, hate foil samples and wished there was at least some beauty product, maybe a lip gloss or some eye shadow? Wish I had gotten at least one deluxe sized product. I too cancelled my subscription after this. So very disappointed!

This being the first box of a 3-month sub, I was underwhelmed as well. After seeing all of the great boxes from previous months, I was disappointed. It almost seemed like they had some throw away samples to get rid of. I did love the hair oil for my frizzy curls- it was really rich and just what my hair needed. I am hoping for a great box next month. Every box has an off month every now and then.

Hi Tamara,

Thank you so much for your valuable feedback! This month we featured full-size NCLA Nail Wraps just to try a new nail color option. We generally feature deluxe-size products and typically at least one full-size makeup product. I’m so thrilled the oil jived with you (: I think you’ll truly love the coming boxes! Thank you again for your honest response. xoxo

I hate to sound so negative about a box, but I really disliked this box. It was a total wash for me. I don’t use nail wraps, hair oil makes my hair oily and weighted down, I didn’t feel like the body lotion soaked in and did my skin any good, the only thing I really enjoyed was the serum. Love the smell! So as a result, I cancelled my sub. To this box. It definitely was not worth what it cost to me!

Hi Nancy,

Thank you for your feedback! I’m sorry you were disappointed with this month’s box (but super glad you loved the Lotus Wei Serum!). If you look at our past box reviews, you’ll see that we typically feature a full-size makeup product in our box. This month, we tried nail wraps as a different nail color option. Thanks again for your feedback! Xx
