New JewelMint VIPBox Subscription Box

JewelMint VIPBox

JewelMint has recently launched a new subscription model - different from their regular JewelMint membership subscription. The new VIPBox subscription is basically a JewelMint mystery box every month - no skip option.

The Subscription Box: JewelMint VIPBox

The Cost: $30 a month

The Products: 3 pieces of jewelry each month (over an $80 value)

What do you think of this new JewelMint subscription model? I'm intrigued, but their mystery boxes tend to be hit or miss for me, so I'm debating signing up.

I don’t see a gift option for this box! I would totally ask for this for my birthday!

I purchased the mystery box last month with the coupon code to get 2 for the price of 1. The jewelry was skulls, skulls and more skulls. It may be something I can gift to a pre-teen as it definitively is a bit “young”.

I wonder if they are going to stop doing mystery boxes. I don’t see any reason for themto do both but the mystery boxes and the skip option are the only reasons I’m subscribed at all. If they only offer the new monthly subscription I will likely quit anyway. I wonder why the value is $80 for three pieces when three regular JM pieces would cost $90?

I think the no skipping option will hurt them. A lot of their stuff is too big and loud for me so I won’t be subscribing. I would maybe order a mystery box around holiday time but would cancel right after. I wish they would just have a one time option on mystery boxes. Excited to see some pieces up for swap soon 🙂

I’m not signed up with any jewelry boxes because I just don’t think any company would regularly wow with products I love.

I subscribed for a couple months and really loved everything I got (I only got mystery boxes–I’m not picky with jewelry and like mixing it up style-wise so it works for me). Sadly, I had to cut expenses and cancel it. The new model is interesting and “up my alley”, but why no skipping allowed? I think that would encourage people to cancel if they can’t skip and needed to skip, but what do I know? 🙂
