Beauty Box 5 Subscription Box Review - March 2014 Card

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included for that month.

Beauty Box 5 Subscription Box Review - March 2014 Soap

Tree Hut Shea Body Butter in Coconut Lime - 2 oz Value $2.50

Jane's Pick All Natural Soap - Guest Size Value $2

I love pretty much all thing coconut scented, so this shea body butter is a win for me. And a little goes a long way so I'm sure it will last a while!

Beauty Box 5 Subscription Box Review - March 2014 Makeup

Bellapierre Cosmetics Makeup Base - .25 oz Value $18

The full size version of this product is listed as .29 oz, so as far as I'm concerned this is basically a full size item. It works as a concealer, illuminator, or eye shadow primer. I tried it out as a concealer and I'm impressed with the coverage so far.

Beauty Box 5 Subscription Box Review - March 2014 H20

Swissco Dual-Sided Facial Pad - Value $2

H20 Plus Hand & Nail Cream - 1 oz Value $2.50

I'm addicted to my Clarisonic, so I won't be using this facial pad on my face, but I think it will be a good body exfoliator before self tanner season starts!

Verdict: I paid about $8 for this box and received about $27 worth of products. I'm happy with the sizes of the products this month, and I think I'll use everything.

What did you think of the March Beauty Box 5 box?

Got my first beauty box 5 today. Got all the same things but a different scent of soap. I was so impressed with my box. Already used the body butter and it was so nice. Excited to see next months!

Me too! This was my first Beauty Box 5 and I was pretty impressed with it … I subscribe to a lot of other beauty (and other) subscription boxes, but I only just subscribed to this one and I’m definitely going to use all of the products. The cover-up/highlighter from BellaPierre is so smooth and awesome I love it.

I got my box today. Exactly the same as Liz. I really love this box. The Coconut Lime smells delicious and concealer has been on my list of needs, so I’m very happy.

I love my box! It was the same however it was missing the base. I emailed customer service & one is on its way.

This was my first month as well with BB5 and I got the same box as Liz. I’m very happy with the value and that every item will be used so score for them. This is my 3rd beauty box this month and wow! at all the skincare products. My Blush box, Sample Society, and BB5 have been exclusively skincare except the makeup base which I can’t use because its too light on my skin tone. I’m a makeup fanatic and specify that in all my profiles and its just strange to me not to get any makeup yet. Not really complaining because I am atleast taking an interest in skincare now and have lots to start with. Crossing my fingers for makeup in BB and Ipsy this month!

I just got an email offering me the chance to “trade” my April box for a 60-day 24ClearIt Acne Treatment Kit and bonus item valued at $59.95! I don’t know if they are offering it to everyone with a subscription or not, but I thought that I’d mention it. I’m taking it since it includes some products like what I use now to keep blemishes at bay and anything too strong I can pass on to some relatives with acne.

I got an email with the same offer. I decided to “opt-in” too. I’m just using up a Murad acne kit and was going to buy another, so this offer came along at the right time. Let’s hope it a win for us both!

I hope my box is just like this.

Meanwhile, my Beauty Box 5 limited edition mystery box is due to arrive today. If I’m happy with it, I may well subscribe. Can’t beat the price!

(Also due to arrive today are Sample Society and a big JustFab order. This site is a bad influence on me.)

What was in the mystery box?! Mine is on the way but I’m impatient!!! 🙂

It was a lot of stuff that has been featured in past reviews here on this blog. I’m not at home right now so I can’t check but I definitely remember the Secret clinical strength deodorant, the Clean & Clear moisturizer, an Orfa lip gloss, a coconut oil/hemp lip balm, something to hang makeup brushes on while they’re drying after being cleaned, the foot scrubber, a mask, a cuticle oil, there was some shampoo and conditioner although the brand name escapes me, h2o+ body wash, another h2o+ product, too. Face wash from Shea Terra, too.

I think if you subscribe to the box, you may have experienced a lot of these products (based on Liz’s reviews). They’re new to me because I’m not a subscriber.

I think I got 18 different items (a lot of trial sized stuff but not too many foil packets) and 16 different brands. I have no idea of the value but I feel like I got a lot of different products to try so I’m happy with it.

My box was a little different due to my profile. I have curly hair, so got a hair product for curly hair instead of the hand cream you got. Instead of the body butter, I got hand cream from the same brand. The other stuff was the same with just fragrance/color variations. I subscribed to a full year through a discount you posted last month and am really happy with my first box!

I got the same box as you! I have wavy hair that definitely needs taming so I’m excited to try this mousse! I have been loving my BB5 so much more than my BB. The samples are bigger and I actually get a better value in my BB5 most months even though they are “cheaper” brands.

I got the same box with the curly hair product and hand cream. This is my first box after the half off deal and i’m extremely happy with it! I hope the rest continue to be this awesome!
