Beauty Army on sale at RueLaLa

The beauty sample subscription box Beauty Army is on sale today at Rue La La! You can get a three month subscription for $23 (normally $36). (Find this deal under the Women's section).

(FYI - I took that picture from RueLaLa's site, but I don't think all of those size samples are typical. You can create an account for free first at BeautyArmy.com if you want to see what type of samples they would give you though).

Does anyone know what the promo code is? I couldn’t find it on the Rue website. Thanks!

Trying to decide if this is worth $18 to me. (I have a little credit left on my ruelala account)
Any opinions? Most of the stuff I’ve seen about Beauty Army has been pretty bad, but for half off it might be okay….

I agree… worst sub for the money. My first month I got 2 full sized items, then it was nothing but small samples and foil packets after that. Not a large selection of items to choose from either. Ipsy costs about the same, and you get more full sized items and closer to what you want.

I agree! Liz, you are amazing! You put in a lot of work and I’ve been having so much fun getting subscription boxes since I found your site! <3

Ugh, this is probably my least favorite of all the subscription boxes – right up there with i-Ella.

Sample sizes are tiny, same brands every time, nothing particularly relevant is ever in the selection. I always had a hard time finding samples I even wanted in my box.

Just beware: They kept billing me and sending boxes even after I canceled. I had to throw a tantrum to finally get them to stop.

I agree with Liz, those are not typical samples. The whip hand sample we received was smaller than a thimble – nothing like that full size product show above. Sadly, Tatcha, StriVectin, and Not Your Mother have never shown up in my product selection. womp! womp!

Beauty Army was the FIRST one I cancelled…by far the worst sub box in my opinion, and I subscribe to quite a few 🙂

I was considering this deal, but I’d love more details…why didn’t you like it??

You will almost never get anything full size and not much in the way of “deluxe” either – most of their things are all foil packet samples and it was never worth it in my opinion. If you’re getting a cheap discount on it to try, give a whirl! They will give you I think a list of 9 samples and you can pick the 6 you want – nothing ever gave me the wow factor enough to keep it! I hung in there for probably 4 months before I cancelled just to get a good feel for the samples they offer.

Perfect! I have $25 credit to Rue La La, so its free for me! I have been waiting for another subscription box to pop up on there to try.

I have a $25 credit too that I thought I’d never use so this is perfect. I would never get Beauty Army otherwise because I didn’t think it was worth it but if it’s FREE I’ll take it! lol Thanks Liz!!
