Very much enjoying the swap site. It’s fun to get to know people 🙂 I know I’ve read this suggestion before, but I’d like to second it. It would be great if there was a box to add the approximate value of the item when you list it. I know that some people add it to the extra information about the product, but not everyone does. With every swap I find myself looking for the value of my item and the value of other people’s items to make sure that the trade appears reasonable.

Am having a blast on the swap site. How can we add items from boxes currently not listed? for example I have something from the Unclutterer Quarterly box I don’t need and would love to put up for grabs!

I swapped with a couple of people and would like to check their current list of items available… I don’t see how to do this. I tried to go to my past swap with them and click on their name/icon but it didn’t work. Might be nice to be able to look up users to see what they’ve got because we’ve had such positive experiences with them. That leads to being able to “favorite” swappers in addition to products.

I’m not sure exactly if it matters but I had something strange happen.

I was looking at someones swap list to find something to complete a swap. I clicked on the photo of an item in the swappers list to get more details. Then I clicked the Back button. And a HUGE page of Code appeared!! One more click on the Back button took me back to the original page but I thought maybe you might want to know about this happening. It happened on two items, both with user uploaded photos. I didnt try it on any non user uploaded photos, though, so I’m not sure how important that information is.

It’s be great if there was a way to differentiate between canceled swaps and swaps waiting for a response. Right now when i go to my swap list, the text for box rejected swaps and swaps waiting for a response is faded. It’d be great I’d there was a sort of traffic light system. Active swaps could have a green outline around the box, rejected swaps would have a red outline and swaps waiting for a response could have a yellow outline. It’s just hard to tell the difference between declined and waiting swaps when you’re glancing at the list. It’d also be great to be able to hide or minimize swap boxes. Finally this afternoon my profile pic randomly flipped upside down, I’m not sure what happened

I love the swap site. I have used it a few times so far. It would be neat if there were a pending swap function. I have an item that is a pending swap, and I’ve had 3 requests for that item while I’m still waiting for a response from the 1st one.

What is the URL to go directly to the swap site? Thanks!

I was also thinking, I have some items from sub boxes that don’t exist anymore and I have items I would like to get rid of but I can’t because the sub box isn’t on the website. Could there be an option for that?

How can I be added to the list for the swap exchange? Really interested, help!

Having a great time on the site so far. Just a functionality consideration:

In the View Your Swaps section – it’s hard to navigate between swaps, or go back to where you came from.

1) Can there be an email-esque “back”/”next” arrows to toggle through the list?

2) Can there be a visual way to see the items swapped in the drop down list? Sometimes it’s the item to swap (if I initiate the swap), and sometimes it’s the item swapped for (if you initiate the swap) – but when it comes time to ship multiple items, it’s hard to decipher who got what. This could also lend to an email initiation between swappers that has an automated subject line of each item so it’s very clear what the swap is for without consulting the site.

3) If multiple swaps occur between the same users in short period of time, is there a way to prompt the swappers that they can combine the swaps into one swap/one shipment for easy identification?

I was wondering if we could add listings from other sample bags (like Sephora’s sample fragrance bags or holiday bags)? I know they aren’t technically subscription boxes but they provide sample goodies.

I think adding a counter-offer function would also be great – in case the original trade doesn’t go through but you agree on a second rather than redoing the entire trade. Overall this is great though Liz, thanks for putting this together!

I’m testing the swap site. Just a couple of thoughts. I’d like the option o being able to delete or hide proposed trades that don’t go through or are cancelled. Over time it just seems like the list gets too long. Also I’d like to be able to hide complete trades. And maybe a link at top for in process trades?
