Unfortunately I have never seen a coupon code for any of the Nerd Block boxes – sorry!

The girl’s box seems way too commercial, not nerdy enough. @Raven The way the boxes are now I don’t see how they could do just a mixture of both because most boys I know wouldn’t want to touch any of those toys shown in the girls box. The stuff shown in the boys box is the stuff that’s truly “nerd blocky” but I feel like they got too greedy and wanted to get the girl demographic too so they went for what they knew would sell. Parent’s love to spoil their kids and that girl’s box has all the right commercialized toys in it to sell. (Not to my kid, I’d never do something that expensive just for a bunch of little toys.)

I dislike that they’ve split these on gender lines. From a personal standpoint, I dislike that I’d need to order my daughter both boxes to get an even mix of her interests – she loves Skylanders and MLP. I wish they’d just done a kids’ box that had a smattering from all given brands, and included some other major geekery like Dr. Who, Minecraft, Nyancat etc – my daughter is 8, right in the target audience, and I just wanted to love this box but I don’t.
Also, no “nerd cred” at all for partnering with Monster High and Barbie.

This box looks awesome! From the pictures this is something my daughter would totally be in to and she is under the age of 6. Definitely going on my box wishlist!
