First - thank you so much to everyone who is using the new swap site and providing us with such helpful feedback! We have a lot more work to do based on your suggestions, but I can't tell you how amazed and thrilled we've been with the response so far. There were over 1000 items listed in the first day!
So far we've made a few updates based on your feedback:
You can now add a note to your fellow swapper if you reject a swap proposal. This is a great way to not give someone a hard no, or to suggest a different type of swap. (I love how many of you wanted this feature - it just shows how wonderfully kind this swapping community is!)
We're working on adding additional ways to communicate with a potential swapper on the site, but thought this piece was the most important to get live asap.
We also added the recently completed swaps section. We thought it would be a fun way to see who's swapping for what, and to get a quick take on what a typical exchange might look like.
Also, we're working on making certain sections of the site easier to find, but for now, here's a look at how you can manage your swaps and listings:
On your profile page you can view all your current listings and edit or remove any listing, and on your swap page you can view all current swaps and see what status each swap is in, and if you have any action item you need to take.
That's it for now - but we'll keep you posted as we build out more of your requested features - please keep the feedback coming! (And thanks for you patience with the site as we work out the kinks!)
