Le Metier De Beaute Beauty Vault VIP Review – Jan 2014 Review

The Beauty Vault VIP subscription from Le Metier De Beaute a super indulgent beauty subscription that I am so glad I talked myself in to purchasing. (I had to pay $348 upfront for the year).

FYI – this box is not currently available for purchase. (I believe the subscription window opens once a year. Sign up for the daily newsletter if you’d like to be notified when subscriptions re-open!)

Le Metier De Beaute Beauty Vault VIP Review – Jan 2014 Packaging

I think this subscription has some of the best packaging - every month it feels like you are unwrapping a very expensive gift!

Le Metier De Beaute Beauty Vault VIP Review – Jan 2014 Remover

Le Metier De Beaute Dual Action Makeup Remover - Value $32

Verdict: This makeup remover is super-practical, and probably a good way to start off the new year, but I'm just not excited about it. (All other boxes in this subscription included either makeup or skincare products). I think this also is the lowest value box so far. (But I'm just spoiled by the past month's boxes).

I'm sure I'll use this makeup remover and love it, so I'll stop complaining! What do you think of the January Le Metier De Beaute Beauty Vault VIP Box?

I’m just going to say I would’ve been so pissed.

Wow, that’s it? I mean, it’s very practical but they could have had this item as a sample and another product as the full size one. Plus, buying this subscription is more of a luxury, so if I were to buy something from this company, it wouldn’t be makeup remover. You can find excellent removers for less then $20.

I fell bad for those who paid over $300 for this subscription. 🙁

I have yet to receive my box but this is disappointing :(. Overall I do love this subscription program but still want a little something more than a bottle of makeup remover.

I agree, up until this month every box has felt like a treat – I hope they go back to awesome boxes from now on!

Wow! I would have been soooo disappointed. The least they could have done was thrown in a chocolate kiss or a bit of tinsel. The vacuum cleaner analogy hits it right on the head. Bleh.

Yeah, for the price of this box, that’s a maaajor letdown. I mean, it’s practical, but I’d definitely prefer getting some awesome lipsticks or blush and bronzer, etc.

LMDB buzz kill…it is like getting a vacuum cleaner from the husband for Christmas. I want pampering, not practical!
It will get used, probably will be the best remover ever, and I will look forward to February – still my favorite sub.

Haha – glad I’m not the only one who was a little disappointed when I opened the box!
