Fancy Food Box Review – January 2014
The Fancy Food Box is one of my favorite Fancy boxes – they consistently send out gourmet food that’s new to me, and they sometimes include a fun food-related item like a fondue set!
We’ve been subscribing since the first box, but this month Fancy kindly sent me the January Food Box at no cost to review.
The Subscription Box: Fancy Food Box
The Cost: $39 a month plus shipping
The Products: Gourmet and specialty food and snacks.
COUPON: Use code FOLLOWUP10 to save 10% on your first box!
Each box comes with cards detailing each item included. (Somehow I always seem to end up missing a card or two).
My husband and I have been looking for lots of healthy snacks to start the new year off right, and these fit the bill perfectly – no added sugar!
Kusmi Tea in BB Detox (20 Sachets) – Value $16
I’ve sampled this tea before through Birchbox and I love the flavor, so I’m thrilled to have a whole box of it. (It is supposed to be good for your skin too!)
Sweater Cup and Saucer – Value $14
I usually just drink my tea out of a mug, but this set makes me want to take everything up a notch – it’s so cute! (And I’m thrilled that I can wash it in the dishwasher!)
Baru Chocolate Covered Caramel Marshmallows – Value $14
These marshmallows look absolutely decadent, and I need a small gift this week, so these will be it! (I need to get them out of the house 🙂
Verdict: This box has a retail value of a little over $70 – a very impressive value for a food box! We’ll use everything, and the marshmallows will make a great little gift, so I’m thrilled with the curation of the box as well.
