Citrus Lane Review & Coupon Code - January 2014 Card

Each box comes with a fold out card detailing the items selected for you that month.

Citrus Lane Review & Coupon Code - January 2014 Fruit

Fruit Set from Plan Toys - Value $12

This set is made with recycled rubberwood - plus it's so cute! It's for kids 18m and up, but I think even four year olds like playing pretend with kitchen stuff? (We'll see if my cousin likes this).

Citrus Lane Review & Coupon Code - January 2014 Coloring Book

Zig Zag Zebra Activity Book - Value $7

Faber Castell Duo Tip Washable Markers - Value $5

This activity book is part story, part coloring/activity book, and these markers are made from food-grade vegetable dyes!

Citrus Lane Review & Coupon Code - January 2014 Medicine

Mommy's Bliss Kid's Upset Stomach Relief - Value $10

This herbal supplement is made with all natural ingredients and is free from gluten, dairy, soy and sugar!

Verdict: I paid $21 for this box (6-month subscription) and received about $34 worth of products. The value is good (I definitely recommend taking advantage of the savings with their 3-month, 6-month or 12-month plans), but more importantly I think Citrus Lane is great because of the quality of the items. I get these boxes for gifts, and I love knowing that everything will always be made with the best ingredients, and all the toys will be safe and fun to use!

What did you get in your January 2014 Citrus Lane box?

My daughter is 2.5 years and this is our first box and we got the same one shown above and actually LOVED it. I am now searching everywhere for a book similar to Zig Zag Zebra that is not simply just a ‘workbook.’ I thought she would not be able to use the markers but spends at least an hour every night sitting on my lap very intensely working in Zig Zag Zebra with the markers. The caps ARE small so she is only allowed to use them with adult supervision, but since I love to color too it’s not really a problem :-). The FIRST thing she said when she saw the fruit was, “Look, I can cut the strawberry just like Mommy, it’s deeeeelicious!” Again, it was our first box so I don’t really know how it compares but it was nice to get some stuff for my daughter that she loves so much that is not owned by Disney 😛

We got the exact same box but my son is 2 years + 9 months. He is too little for the markers and coloring book . The markers even say 4+ on them. He does loves the food toy but the rest is disappointing.
This is our third box and I have never gotten a mom item and they always send coupon codes that require you to spend money. Which I hate.
So this will be our last box.

My son is 2 and I got a completely different box, except for the medicine. Not sure if we’ll ever use it. We got a apple sauce pouch ($1.50), a Skip Hop dog lunch box ($13 on Amazon) and a toy for a 12 month old – would have preferred your box. I think I might email them as it was a little disappointing!

We got our first box this month from a gjft subscription my daughter got for Christmas
…we have had CL before and it used to come with something extra for mom…when did that change?? Also am I correct in thinking there used to be 5 things in the box?

I think there’s usually 4-5 items per box. And in the past it seemed like there was always a gift for mom. I wonder if they’re getting away from that. 🙁

Aww man. Very disappointed with this box. I’m getting the 4 year old box too, but it’s our last box since dd is turning 5 later this month. Very sad that our last box is like this. 🙁 She doesn’t get motion sickness or anything so the medicine is pointless, and they already sent crayons in a recent box. 🙁 We’re also getting rid of it because my husband doesn’t see any value in it…I was hoping this box would make him change his mind but looks like it won’t.
