Bespoke Post Review - Hertiage Box - January 2014 Box of Awesome

Bespoke Post is our favorite men's subscription box. The quality of the items they select is always outstanding, and each month's theme is always a nice little lifestyle upgrade.

Bespoke Post Review - Hertiage Box - January 2014 Box

If you’re new to Bespoke Post, here’s how it works: 1) SIgn up for $45 a month. You can pick an available box for your first month, or choose to skip for now. 2) Every month on the first they release their new boxes, and you can select which one you want, or skip any month. I love that you can preview boxes and skip any month you aren’t interested in – it takes away the risk of the $45 price!

This month Bespoke Post released one new box: Heritage, and they also brought back some popular previous boxes. This review is of the Heritage box.

Bespoke Post Review - Hertiage Box - January 2014 Info

Every box also comes with a sheet explaining the items included, and it usually has some tips too - this month's tip: How to Relax.

Bespoke Post Review - Hertiage Box - January 2014 Leather

Leather Valet Tray - Bespoke Post Exclusive made by Blue Claw Co. - Value $60 (estimate)

Saddle Tan Leather Key Fob by Makr - Value $32

Both of these items are very well made, and the leather valet tray is going to be great for keeping my husband's wallet, money, and random other things in one place!

Bespoke Post Review - Hertiage Box - January 2014 Cologne

Alfred Lane Bravado Men's Solid Cologne - Value $17.95

I was surprised by how much both my husband and myself liked this scent! (It was definitely the surprise of the box as I assumed it wouldn't get used). I'm not great at describing scent, but if you liked the scent of the candle in the cigar box last month, I think you'll like this scent too!

Bespoke Post Review - Hertiage Box - January 2014 Word

Word Note Book Set - Value $6

We have more notebooks than I think we'll ever use thanks to subscription boxes, so these go in the gift pile!

Bespoke Post Review - Hertiage Box - January 2014 Cards

Two Words Period. Cards (Bonus Item)

This was the additional bonus item not shown when you previewed the box. The cards have phrases like "Nailed It," "Cool Story," and "Call Me."

Verdict: We paid $45 for this box and received about $120 worth of products. I don't think my husband and I were super excited about this box when we first previewed it on January 1st, but I'm really glad we ordered it - having the items in your hands definitely makes a difference!

What do you think of the Bespoke Post Heritage box?

I ordered this subscription for my bf for christmas. Heritage was his first box as well. He was happy enough with it, but personally I do not feel it worth $45.

Secondly, you place your order by the 5th of each month and we didn’t receive it until the 21st!

I only ordered a 3 month subscription opposed to 6 months (which i originally intended). The website wasn’t terribly telling and I wanted to determine, before spending a boat load, that it would meet my expectation.

Ultimately, there are a lot of subscription services out there, and not all of them are manage well.

Verdict: not worth the time traded at work for the monies to pay for this subscription. Will not be renewing this service.

LOL! I gather you’re not subscribed to Glossybox. You could celebrate several holidays and a birthday, waiting for that subscription to arrive – but they always charge you ASAP.
