Vegan Cuts Snack Box Review - Dec 2013 Items

Vegan Cuts Snack Box is a monthly subscription box full of vegan and natural food products and snacks! I subscribe to their snack box and their beauty box, so they ship both subscriptions in the same box. (Check out my review of the December 2013 Vegan Cuts Beauty Box).

The Subscription Box: Vegan Cuts Snack Box

The Cost: $19.95 a month

The Products: 7-10 vegan snacks (mostly gluten free)

Ships to: US, Canada (extra $8), and Internationally (extra $15)

Check out my Vegan Cuts Snack Box reviews and the list of the 8 Best Vegan Subscription Boxes!

Vegan Cuts Snack Box Review - Dec 2013 Info

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included for that month. I just read this card and realized my box is missing the Goody Good Stuff gummies - I'm going to have to email Vegan Cuts!

Vegan Cuts Snack Box Review - Dec 2013 Beanitos

Pure Fruit Sandwich Strawberry & Banana Bar - Value $1.50

Sea Salt Cocomels - Value $4

Beanitos Black Bean Chips - Value $1.50

I'm trying to cut back on sugar, but I could not resist these Cocomels! (I avoid dairy, so finding caramels made with coconut milk is amazing). These are seriously addictive and I think I ate the whole pack immediately after taking this picture! (This Pure Fruit bar was excellent as well).

Vegan Cuts Snack Box Review - Dec 2013 Soup

Viana Red Pepper Creamy Sunflower Spread - Value $3.69

Meatless Select Five Bean Chili - Value $2.50

I really like this Red Pepper spread, and I love that it's dairy-free and organic! Now I just need to figure out where I can buy it locally! Unfortunately this vegetarian chili has wheat in it, so I won't be able to try it out. (I'm glad I read the ingredients, as I normally assume all chili is gluten-free).

Vegan Cuts Snack Box Review - Dec 2013 Chocolate

Southern Mint Herbal Tea (4) - Value $1

Hint Mint Sample - Value $.50

Mahima for Life Berries Best Antioxidant Powder - 11 grams Value $2

Verdict: I paid $19.95 for this box and received about $17 worth of items. (Since one product was missing from my box, I think the value will be closer to $20 for a full box). This isn't the highest value box from Vegan Cuts, but I'm still happy with it - I love Cocomels, and the Viana Red Pepper Spread was a great discovery for me! Plus I'm excited to try the tea and Berries Best antioxidant powder!

What did you think of the December Vegan Cuts Snack Box?

I’ve heard alot of TERRIBLE things about this box. I would never want to have a subscription that regularly has you pay more for the box than your getting in the box. Which is what they do. Also whoever runs customer service on instagram is the rudest person on the planet and that alone is a reason why I would never. I had a friend post a review saying that her box was undervalued for the 2nd time and the customer service who runs their page was so rude to anyone who commented. It was shocking.
