Sometimes Birchbox Mystery Bonus Packs are more exciting than my monthly Birchbox - so I thought I'd do a quick review of what I've received in my past 4 Mystery Bonus Packs!

How Mystery Bonus Packs Work:

With any purchase in the Birchbox shop of $35 or more, you can add a Mystery Bonus Pack to your card and get it for free. (It will show up as $10, but $10 will be deducted from your order total).

Onto the samples! (each set is from a different Birchbox order):

birchbox-mystery-sample-pack-1

Wei Buffing Beads - 2 packets Value $2

Bain de Terre Macadamia Oil Nourishing Conditioner - 1.7 oz Value $1.70

Verdict: This sample pack has a total value of $3.70. Not too exciting, but I think I'll use both of these items. (I'm still hoping to get a Wei mud mask sample from Birchbox, I really want to try it without buying the full size set!)

Miss Jessie's Leave in Condish - 1 oz Value $1.40

Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream - 1 oz Value $10

Verdict: This Caudalie hand cream is officially my new favorite item! It's free of any harmful ingredients, the citrusy scent is amazing, and it absorbs quickly too!  And this sample pack has a total value of $11.40!

Tiossan Body Cream - .25 oz Value $1.50

Eyeko Black Magic Mascara -4 ml Value $10.75

Verdict: This sample pack has a total value of $12.25. The Tiossan brand is new to me, and I like that they use organic ingredients, but the scent was a little too strong for me. I really like this Eyeko Black Magic Mascara, and I'm happy to have a spare!

Beauty Protector Daily Conditioner - 1 oz Value $2.75

Vasanti Brighten Up Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator - 20 g Value $5.70

Verdict: This sample pack has a total value of $8.45. I'll use both of these items, so this pack is another win for me!

Have you gotten any Mystery Sample Packs lately? Any good samples?

I have received the mystery sample pack 3-4x . They were all tiny foil packets besides the last was a tiny cotz sunscreen tube and full size Cynthia Rowley eye liner.

I was excited about the eye liner. 🙂

Now I made refferals for the mystery sample pack before the deadline. It is indeed showing on my account for having people join. I contacted birchbox to see when I should expect them, I see others are getting there’s. They emailed back. What refferals and names so I just messaged back. How hard is it to look at my account in which I can clearly see the names and dates too. It is in my points section of my account. I am getting annoyed with back and forth with there cs used to be good. Last month I didn’t get the laggies box, nothing they could do. No comp or apologies. They didn’t even show where I contacted them about the situation and I promise to everyone in this world I did. It is okay though.

I feel like I am just a normal customer that they just don’t wanna help and I may cancel now after the experience today trying to find out where my sample packs are? It is a simple question.

Today I received Ruby Wing nail polish in mini kitten heels and Agave hot oil treatment in my mystery pack.

Ive gotten tons of mystery samples lately, they have all been junk though. They used to give out great products when they first started the bonus shop.

Your mystery item are so much better then mine. This is what I have gotten in the past:

– Showstopper double stick tape (packet)
– Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream 0.1 fl.oz (packet)
– Coola Organic moisturizer 0.169 fl.oz
– Airelle Intense Repair Complex (tiny container)

These are supposed to be worth $10? I feel bad for the people that actually buy these instead of getting them for free w/purchase.

If you love that Caudalie lotion, you should try their Divine Oil. I got it as a BB sample once and had to splurge on the bottle. It’s the exact reason to keep reviewing those samples and take advantage of the discounts Birchbox offers when you find something you really love. This is one of those things I can’t live without anymore.

(Then I tried the Caudalie make up remover and was extremely disappointed, so it’s great to see that the lotion is up to par with their oil. I will have to try this too!)

So funny, after I fell in love with the lotion I immediately went to Birchbox to see what other products Caudalie makes! Now I must buy the Divine Oil because of your recommendation. Thank you!

I won Caudalie’s Premier Cru The Cream once, and I loved it. It was luxurious, gentle, and made my face glow. However, I haven’t quite been able to justify $155 to buy it for myself yet. Maybe with a nice discount through BirchBox, though!

Your BB Mystery packs are way better than any of the ones I have ever received. I got a men’s aftershave balm in one of mine!

I just placed a Sephora order with the WEI mud mask as one of my free samples…so if you have anything you were going to get anyways, might as well head over there
