Escape Monthly Subscription Box Review November 2013
Escape Monthly is a vacation-in-a-box subscription. This is my second month subscribing, and so far I’m enjoying getting a mini-escape each month!
The Subscription Box: Escape Monthly
The Cost: $49.95 a month ($39.95 a month with coupon)
The Products: Each box is a destination-inspired monthly delivery of luxury products to help you relax, renew and escape.
Ships to: US only
Bonus Points: Each month, one lucky member will be selected at random to win a vacation to the current month’s theme destination. Escape Monthly will pay for the winner’s airfare from a major US hub and two nights of accommodations, up to $1000. (They announce the winners publicly on Facebook).
Each month has a new destination and all the items in the box are sourced from that location. This month’s theme is Vermont! (Vermont is on the top of the list of places I want to visit, so I was extra excited about this box!)
Vermont Travel Guide – Value $17
Whisper Hill Olive Oil Soap – Value $5
Way Out Wax Escentual Love Tea Lights – Value $4
These were two of my favorite items in the box. They both smell amazing and I love that they are all-natural.
Distler’s Maple Pretzels – Value $6
We LOVE Quinn popcorn! Their flavors are amazing, and I love knowing the popcorn bags are free of any possible toxins.
Nature’s Mysteries Twilight Face Creme – Value $20
Belle Savon Peppermint Lavender Shea Butter – Value $4
So far I’ve been very impressed that Escape Monthly works with a lot of all-natural bath products. This Shea Butter Cream is a new favorite of mine!
True North Granola Snack Pack – Value $3
Lake Champlain Chocolates of Vermont – Value $6
This chocolate pack included 4-flavors: Honey Caramel, Evergreen Mint, Green Mountain, and Maple Crunch!
And on the back of the Vermont brochure, Escape Monthly gives you a sneak peek of the next destination: Italy! I’m happy to see this box will ship on the 16th – that gives it plenty of time to arrive before the 25th!
Verdict: I paid $39.95 for this box and received $70 worth of items. Last month’s box had an even higher value, but I’m still happy with the value of this box. I think my husband and I will use every thing included, and I may do some reading on Vermont and start planning a vacation for 2014!
What did you think of Vermont Escape Monthly box? Are you looking forward to the Italy box?
