Gourmet Taste Trunk Subscription Box Review - September

The Taste Trunk is one of my favorite new food subscription boxes. They offer 4 different subscription plans: Healthy, Gourmet, Sweets, and BBQ. I've been impressed with the quality and curation of each box, and the September Gourmet Taste Trunk is no exception!

Gourmet Taste Trunk Subscription Box Review - September

1849 Pasta Sauce Artichoke with Merlot - Value $10?

Vineyard Pasta - Value $5.50

I could not find a price for this pasta sauce anywhere online, so I'm guessing on the price. I wish I did find it online too - it's delicious!

Amphora Premium Balsamic Vinegar - Value $7

Amphora Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Value $7

Terrapin Ridge Farms Smokey Onion Mustard - Value $6.70

I can always use more balsamic vinegar and olive oil, so these were great pantry staples to discover in the box. This mustard is great too - it definitely adds a different flavor to sandwiches than a regular mustard.

Verdict: So far everything we've sampled in this box has been amazing! And every product was a brand that is new to me, so I'm thrilled with the gourmet discovery part of this box. Do you subscribe to Taste Trunk? What did you think of the September boxes?

I saw your note about 50% off Taste Trunk so I was prowling through your old reviews…this box looks great but the value not so much?

Google found me this website for the pasta sauce:
http://www.honestfoods.com/1849-pasta-sauce.html
It’s only $5.50 a jar which is awesome if you wanted to stock up but not as awesome if you’re hoping to get good value out of the box…it brings your value to $32.70.

I’m off to hunt for other reviews before subscribing…I love this sort of foodie subscription box but I would much rather just allot myself some extra money to buy new/unusual things at the store than get a subscription that’s low in value.

This is one of my favorite subscription boxes – I get the Sweet box and this month it included 3 of the most amazing kinds of cookies. Love it!

I think that is the wholesale pricing.
