This is my third and last month of the Bourbon & Boots subscription box. (They offer 3-month subscription plans, and I decided to take a break for now since I'm not a big BBQ person).
The Box: Bourbon & Boots Box
The Cost: $42 a month
The Products: These boxes will be filled with only the things hand-selected by the Bourbon & Boots staff.
Check out all of my Bourbon & Boots Box reviews, and the Artisan Subscription Box Directory!
The boxes come with a short card itemizing each product included and its value.
BBQ T-shirt - Value $25
Pigs Fly Tea Towel - Value $10
This tea towel matches the napkins that were included with the July box.
Whole Hog Cafe BBQ Sauce - Value $7
The Plano Drink Holster - Value $25
This drink holster is well-made and fun - and it showed up just when I needed a fun birthday gift! The BBQ sauce on the other hand was disappointing for me because of the way it was sealed - with saran wrap. The bottle was completely sticky when I pulled it out of the box, and I just don't trust food products that are not properly sealed, so this went straight to the trash.
Fortunately, after a few emails Bourbon & Boots agreed to refund me for the BBQ sauce.
Verdict: I think this is a great box for the BBQ lover, but my husband and I don't really fall into that category, so I won't be re-subscribing for the October box. (We like BBQ sauce, but thanks to subscription boxes I think our pantry is now stocked with 10+ bottles!)
