Birchbox Man is a monthly men's grooming and lifestyle subscription box. My husband has been subscribing for over a year now, and we're very happy with this subscription.

Each box usually includes deluxe grooming samples: lip balm, shaving products, skincare products, etc. and at least one lifestyle item. (Past lifestyle items have included: wallets, socks, shirts, and tech products).

Birchbox Man Review - November 2013

Yes to Pomegranate Lip Balm - Value $2.99

LSTN Cherry Earbuds - Value $50

Wow! We definitely lucked out this month getting $50 earbuds! (I was expecting the lifestyle item this month to be socks!)

Mt. Sapola Body Lotion in Ginger Lemongrass - .6 oz Value $2

Baxter of California Oil Free Moisturizer - 2 oz Value $10

This Mt. Sapola Body Lotion is made from all natural ingredients, smells amazing, and absorbs quickly. I think I'll be stealing it for myself!

Verdict: We paid $20 for this box and received $65 worth of products - I'm definitely thrilled with the value of the box this month! What did you get in your October Birchbox Man?

We got Baxter after shave balm, the candle, evolutionman cleanse & shave, Billy Jealousy moisturizer, & some packets of Alchimie antioxidant skin repair.

We were satisfied overall, but my hubby would have much preferred to get the ear buds over the candle, although the candle does smell nice.

That’s crazy–I really only got the candle–none of the shave balm, moisturizer, or cleanse stuff. Really think they just ran out of stuff and just sent me the candle and some hand wipes.

This was by far the worst month I’ve had so far. A ‘travel candle?’ Who on earth can’t be away from home without a candle. And then a bunch of very tiny samples.

Can someone please tell me again why the Men’s box is double the price of the Women’s?

I keep hanging on to my subscription thinking the next month will be better, but good grief I just keep getting more disappointed with each passing month.

So I got the candle, the shave cream, the lip balm, and the English laundry cologne. For me personally, the only item I didn’t like was the lip balm. I don’t really need a travel candle but I liked the smell of it. What really sold me on the box was the English Laundry cologne. I will be buying a full size of this. Overall this box was ok, not my favorite but not the worst by far.

Yeah… I got the freakin candle again. Last moth was a white V-neck. I get I’m only paying $20 but considering it’s a box of samples with 1 potentially cool item but so far I’m 0-2. Also, I’m an African American male but they keep sending me hair products like holding wax… -_-

This was my first subscription box and it was insanely disappointing. I got two moist towlettes, a 0.5 oz shampoo (I’ve had better in airport hotels), a 1 oz face moisturizer (ditto to the airport hotel), and a miniature travel candle. Are you kidding me? What a joke…it was satisfying to unsubscribe, and hope others do too as this is a total ripoff.

Received the candle – not at all impressed. I think this will be the last month.

Your box was a lot better than mine….we got the travel candle and we didn’t even get the lip balm. The other 2 items were the same.
