The Fancy Food box is a gourmet subscription box from Fancy. Each box includes different artisan food, plus the occasional related accessory (Spatula, apron, etc.). The September box is definitely one of my favorites!

The Box: Fancy Food Box

The Cost: $39 a month plus shipping

The Products: Gourmet and specialty food and snacks.

Check out all my Fancy Food Box reviews and the Food Subscription Box Directory!

Each box comes with cards that detail the items in the box.

Fancy Food Box Review - September 2013

Smith Tea Variety Box - Value $15

I recently started switching from coffee to tea, and was very happy to see this tea set in the box. (I got a similar variety box of Smith's Tea from Mantry a few months ago, and I loved it!)

Rip van Wafels (3) - Value $4.50

Birch Benders Six Grain Cinnamon Gourmet Pancake Mix - Value $7.50

My boyfriend really likes these carmel filled Amsterdam waffles!  I'm also impressed that this all natural pancake mix only needs water to make delicious pancakes!

Babycakes Waffle Stick Maker - Value $25

We received this waffle stick maker a Jennifer Love Hewitt box and it's super easy to use. I always thought it would make a great present, so now I have one to gift too!

Bonnie's Jams in Apricot Orange - Value $7

Well Dressed Nut - Cinnamon Vanilla Pecan - Value $6

These pecans were completely addictive! I avoid dairy in my diet, so I was thrilled to see that they were made with egg whites - not butter. I'm definitely going to need to buy more so I can always have an indulgent but somewhat healthy dessert on hand!

Verdict: I paid $39 plus $7.95 shipping for the September Fancy Food Box, and I received about $65 worth of product- not bad! We'll use all the food items and the Babycakes waffle stick maker will be a great gift, so I'm very happy with the value of this box. What did you think of the September Fancy Food box?

I love the reviews on the fancy boxes but whats the deal with the “famous” ones…do you subscribe to them all like the Pink, Ashton, JLH,…or are they all one and you just get a different one each month?
