Watanut is a new healthy snack subscription box. Every month they send you 4 different mixes that include granola, nuts, trail mix, and dried fruit. Watanut kindly sent me this box to review!
The Box: Watanut
The Cost: $25 a month
The Products: Each shipment contains 4 inspired mixes, different from the previous box, with great combos of fruity, light and salty.
Ships to: US only.
The Happy Nut 🙂 - (Roasted Salted Pistachios)
Given the price point of this box, I was expecting these snacks to be larger sizes than Graze snacks - and I was right. Each snack container is 6 oz - I'm thinking probably four times larger than each graze snack pack?
A Walk in the Woods Granola (Rolled oats, honey, brazil nuts, cashews, coconut, cinnamon)
I didn't get to try this one since I don't eat oats, but I can definitely vouch for the fact that it smells amazing.
Thru-Hike (Cranberries, Roasted almonds, Roasted & Salted Cashews)
I think this smack mix was my favorite - it's simple and delicious.
Wild Bill's Buffalo Mix (Buffalo peanuts, Unsalted peanuts, buttermilk rank pretzel bits, sunflower seeds).
My boyfriend loved this mix!
Verdict: I love the packaging of this subscription - it's very professional and fun to unbox! I also think the pricing is equivalent with what I would pay at Whole Foods for these snack mixes, and the value is getting them delivered to your door each month. The serving sizes are great too. My only feedback for Watanut is that I would like to see every single ingredient listed on the snacks (not just buttermilk ranch pretzel bits for example). I avoid dairy and wheat in my diet, so I know I'm more particular than most on wanting to see ingredients - but that's just my two cents! What do you think of Watanut?
