I think it sounds interesting. I’m currently subscribed to Amazing Clubs dinner of the month club, and that’s more expensive than this, but along the same principal. I work 70+ hours a week, so I don’t have a lot of time to go shopping, especially at specialty food markets. I also more than likely wouldn’t use full size bottles of each spice so a lot would be likely to go to waste. I’ll give this a try for a couple months! Thanks!

Looking at their first box, I find it weird that they recommend Corriander as an addition, but don’t send it to you to add since they’re a spice company. I’ll take a pass – for $20/month, I only see about $10.00 worth of ingredients in the box.

I would say that could be an allergy or intolerance issue. Several people I know are allergic to, or have an extreme dislike of coriander (cilantro). I love cilantro and grow my own, but most of my family hates it. My mother and two of my friends are allergic. But cilantro does do a lot of people what broccoli does to me! The smell alone makes me gag. This would be a great question to ask Pixi Box, though. I am interested in the answer!

I think for $20 you could go to your local asian food store and purchase a full size of each ingredient. This would, however, make a cute gift. Also, last time I purchased tamarind, I ended up throwing most of it away. You could reuse those little vials for something. I have the rest of those ingredients on hand, though. I guess my feelings are mixed.
