Julep Summertime Mystery Boxes - Available Now!

It's Julep Mystery Box time again! This month they have three different boxes you can purchase: Summer Days, Summer Nights, and Day & Night - a bigger box with a little of both of the first two boxes.

They also are debuting two new exclusive colors with each box: Kyla and Monica, two full-coverage glitter polishes. I really like that they have two exclusive new colors in this mystery box - it helps me avoid getting a box full of polishes I already own!

I just received my day + night box. 7 polishes, a small sample foil packet of exfoliating hand scrub, a double brush, and a set of foam toe separators. Didn’t love the colors – 2 or 3 I will probably wear. I received box version 2. It was kinda meh.

Ill be skipping this one for sure. The last two offerings were a disappointment for me, too many dupes of colors from the recent months. Out of all of the colors and products on their site you think they could really mix it up but it seems everyone ends up getting the same colors and products in their boxes. The last one I really liked was the Sea Salt box.

I Just received my mystery box and while it was decent I definitely wasn’t thrilled I went for the big box and it promised 125-300 value well mine was 126 (retail not maven price) lol kinda sad!! And for a BIG box it wasn’t
really that big. I received 7 polishes and the dual use makeup brush and a packet sample of the hand scrub …meh.
On the plus side I only received on dupe and luckily it’s a color I use quite a bit.

Are they sold out already?? I’ve been trying to buy one and my order won’t go through. I’m dying to buy my first mystery box and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll get the chance to. Haha

Katie, I posted this under Kaitlin’s comment, but maybe it will help you too:

I contacted them, and they said it was a tech issue. Sometimes, when you use a saved/stored credit card, it gives you an error during processing. I was advised to enter new credit card info (I used the exact same card that I had stored, but entered it in as “new”)and that worked! My order went through and is processing now. Good luck!

Is anyone else having problems ordering the Mystery Box? I have it in my bag and go to check out and it says “Submitting Order Information…” and then pops up with a generic error saying “Error occurred. Please try again. Contact [email protected] if this occurs again.” I contacted them, but am wondering if this is an issue with more than just me? I’m excited to try this mystery box – it’s my first Julep mystery box (IF I can get it ordered!)

Here’s an update on this: They contacted me back and let me know that sometimes, when you use a saved credit card, it gives you an error. I was advised to enter new credit card info (I used the same card that I had stored, but entered it in as if I was changing my payment method). It worked for me! My order went through and I got a confirmation. Hope that helps!

I just ordered the Day & Night box, I can’t wait to get it! My first Mystery Box was the Laguna Beach Mystery Box from last month and I wasn’t too thrilled with it because I had all three of the nail polish colors already (well, they weren’t exactly the same, but very close to three other Julep polishes I have) … So I’m also happy about the fact that the colors in the current mystery boxes are exclusive. And they look pretty sweet.

I honestly did not think I would ever sign up for Julep, until you put a free box code in one of your posts, because I really thought I didn’t need a monthly box of nail polish (I was wrong). Now Julep is probably my favorite monthly subscription box.

I think all of their beauty products are wonderful, they work so well and they always seem to be products that I instantly add to my daily routine, and the nail polishes have been my top choice for awhile, gorgeous colors and great formula (that stays put + goes on without me messing up as much as usual) … PLUS the extra product they throw in each month is always awesome and really adds to the value of the box.

I wasn’t even considering the July Mystery Box, and then Julep had to create 2 exclusive glitter polishes for these boxes! I quickly caved and bought the Summer Nights box. I ruled out the bigger box because I don’t wear a lot of neutrals which I’m guessing the Summer Days has more of. I hope the rest of the box is as fun as the new polishes.
