Dottie Box Review - July 2013 - Indie Subscription Boxes

Dottie Box is a subscription box filled with handmade items - I like to think of it as someone navigating etsy for the best products and sending me a collection of their favorite items every month. If you like discovering new indie brands and artists I definitely recommend Dottie Box. Thank you to Dottie Box for sending me the July box to review!

Dottie Box Review - July 2013 - Indie Subscription Boxes

Little Flower Bath Salt in Pink Grapefruit - Value $3.50

Live Beautifully Lip Balm Jelly in Barreled Cola - Value $5

Herbolution Facial Clay Detox Mask - Value $2.50

I absolutely love the packaging and the scent of the Little Flower Pink Grapefruit Bath Salt! Plus it has only three wholesome ingredients: Pink Himalayan mineral salt, Pink Grapefruit essential oil, and epsom salt.

The Barreled Cola lip jelly is another all-natural product with a short ingredient list! (I love that they don't use artificial colors to tint the lip balm). Plus, this lip jelly truly smells like an old fashioned cola! Live Beautifully also has about 2 dozen other lip jelly flavors - I may need to buy the Irish Mint Coffee and the Almond Biscotti!

Aqua Blossom Body Polish in Sunshine State - Value $5

Another eco-friendly, wonderfully scented beauty product - this month's Dottie Box is like a mini spa in a box! Also, when I was checking out the Aqua Blossom shop on etsy I noticed something amazing - they have a Butter Beer scented body polish! What a perfect and unexpected gift for a Harry Potter fan! (Whenever I finally get to go to Harry Potter World, I think I have to have this packed in my suitcase!)

Katie Vaz Hand Drawn Paper Goods Hello Greeting Card - Value $4

With Dottie Box and Nicely Noted, I always have the nicest stationary and cards - I love it! Also, Katie Vaz offers custom hand drawn greeting cards for only $15 - I think I will buy one for my boyfriend's next birthday!

Verdict: I love that when Dottie Box includes beauty products in their boxes, they are all-natural products. This box was totally a spa/beauty month - and that works for me! (In the past boxes there have typically been at least one jewelry item). What did you think of the July Dottie Box?
