Each month comes with a card detailing each item in the box. It looks like they are now going to have a curator each month. (This month’s curator is makeup artist Elle Leary).

Bioelements Quick Refiner – .25 oz Value $3.83

Deborah Lippmann 3D Holographic Luxurious Nail Color in Ray of Light – FULL SIZE! Value $19

I was so excited to see Deborah Lippman nail polish in the bag this month! This is also exactly the type of nail color I imagine when I think of Deborah Lippmann nail polish. This box is already off to a great start!

Emani Organic Lip Shine in Blush – FULL SIZE! Value $16

AIRBRUSH Eye Refining Treatment – Sample – (This was my bonus mystery sample that comes with every Blush order).

The Emani lipgloss is my favorite product discovery in this month’s Blush Mystery Beauty Box. The whole product line is vegan, and this lipgloss is free from harmful ingredients like parabens, phthalates, GMOs, etc. I was expecting the color to be sheer, but it had more color and shine than I expected. This is my new go-to lipgloss for a nude-lip!

Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex SPF 15 – FULL SIZE Value $50

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Glow Pad Anti-Aging Exfoliating Self-Tanner – 10 Count – Value $18

I sampled these Alpha Beta Glow Pads for the body and I’ve been meaning to buy the face tanner towelettes – finding these in box this month was the perfect surprise! For me, it’s been much more difficult to find a perfect self tanner for the face than the body. These get excellent reviews on Sephora, so fingers crossed this is my new face self tanner!

Verdict: I paid $24.95 for the July Blush Mystery Beauty Box and received over $150 worth of quality beauty products – I think this is the best Blush Mystery Beauty Box I’ve received so far! Did you get the July box? What was your favorite item?

  1. Barb,
Hello 🙂 I don’t know about a skip option but you can put your account on hold which is basically the same thing. I wanted to change my billing date so I called CS. She put the hold on my account & said when I was ready to call & restart on the date I prefer.

  2. I had the same issue as others when I signed up, as it added some eyelash product for an extra fee, even though I had selected no. I deleted it and the order went through. I decided to cancel after receiving the box, however, so I went into my account section on Blush, and looked under the auto-refill link.

That eyelash stuff was on there as an auto-refill! Not OK. I called them to cancel. I’m nervous, as she just gave me a verbal confirmation that I wouldn’t receive any more boxes, but no email.

  3. Wow!! I didn’t read your review when you first posted it since I had not yet recieved my box. It was finally here today and I am so impressed. This is my fourth Blush box and it is amazing. Great variety of high quality products. I was very happy to recieve the Lumene product as I have always wanted to try the brand. The hair spray looks great too!!! Actually I’m excited about every product, lol.

  4. I received my first box today. Boy was I excited, until I saw my unusable hydroxatone (dried up, solid block). I have emailed CS and am waiting for a response, but my comment is mainly to warn people about the current consumer fraud class action suit against them (hydroxatone) right now. Just a FYI for readers.

PS. How amazing does that lip gloss smell?! Love it.

    • The class action isn’t because of the product itself. It has to do with the way they handled automatic billing, refunds, etc. It stinks you got a bad product though. Hopefully they sent you a new one or something else!

  5. Received my box today…wow!! It is my second one and I did like last months….but this one is AMAZING!! I love the nail and lipgloss colors….plus I’ve always wanted to try Deborah Lippman’s fancy polish 😉 These are all things I’ll use and a great variety. I’ll definately be keeping this one for another month. Great job Blush!!

    • Yay! Glad to hear you liked it as much as I did!

  6. I apply the code but when I get to the final checkout page it jumps back up to the $24.95 price. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you.

    • That also happened to me so I didn’t go for it

  7. Just an FYI, the Hydroxatone product is a sample size. The full size is 1 oz. The product we got in our bag was .5 oz. Just so everyone knows. It’s still a nice size, but it’s not a $50 value.

    • Actually I was looking and this size is what is on their site for the full size and Liz was also correct about the value. The 0.5 oz sales for $49.95. The 1oz is a different product, it is the Microdermabrasion. So everyone can calculate the value at what Liz is showing, $50!!

  8. Do you know if you can skip a month if you choose the subscription?

    • I don’t think that there is a skip option. Sorry!

  9. Liz, my wallet keeps begging me to stay away from your site. Somehow or another, I keep ending up here though! I just picked this up!

    • I agree!!! And every time I come across a new one I come here for the reviews! Love it!!!

  10. Do you know if I can still get this box??? Amazing value for 18.71!!

    • Sarah,
I ordered a box this morning after seeing this post and it said I was getting the “July 2013” box in 2-3 business days. So, yes I’m expecting this exact box and I’m thrilled!!

  11. I just signed up! I think I’ll be receiving this box since it said 3-day shipping. I couldn’t resist signing up since you posted pictures of such amazing products!
