New Beauty & Makeup Subscription Box Alert! BoxyCharmblog
BoxyCharm is a new beauty and makeup subscription service. I checked out their site, and I was really impressed - and then I realized I was impressed because it looks so familiar to one of my favorite beauty subscription sites: GlossyBox. The site colors, font, layout, buttons and price point are all the same. Not sure what to make of that. Regardless - I get pretty excited when a new beauty subscription launches. I will definitely be trying this one out!
The Products: 5-6 drugstore beauty items that will include nail care, skin care, makeup, haircare, fragrance and more. (At least 4 of those items will be full-sized).
What do you think about BoxyCharm? And am I crazy about the similarities in the sites?
BoxyCharm ($32 per month) is one of the most popular beauty subscription boxes that we review, with lots of loyal customers. They promise 5 full-size beauty products each month from a variety of both indie and... read more.

Looks simular and costs the same. Who knows maybe Glossy Box will become Boxycharm?

I love that this has drugstore items. Things I can actually buy, and brands I recognize. I am signing up. I just wish there was a coupon code for your first box like Julep does. Also would use your personal code if it meant you getting points for it. But I’m going to go for it, the 3 month option so I don’t have auto rebilling and can trial this out. I am currently deciding between Ipsy and Birchbox and this could replace both if I like it. (Plus my Julep subscription of course, which I wouldn’t replace! Love!)

I use a mix of high end (mainly skincare) and drugstore beauty items (especially mascara, blush and hair care). In my opinion, there are a lot of great drugstore items out there but unfornately they’re overlooked and underrated.

I signed up! I’m so curious to see what we get.

BoxyCharm is probably under the same parent company as Glossybox: Beauty Trend Holding.

I’ll wait until you post your first review before I subscribe. I spend too much money each month on boxes already so I like to see a few reviews of a new box before I subscribe.

Drugstore items? Not so sure. But, it sounds interesting, but I’ll have to see what you get first. Thanks for posting. Love your site!

It seems like the difference between this box and GlossyBox is that they are all drugstore brands, but they are all full-size products.

Best with the new box!! I, personally, won’t subscribe because “drug store” beauty products are not my thing. If I was into that type of beauty product I wouldn’t pay that much per month either. Love their look and what-not though. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for your reviews just in-case I may find the products they choose are up my alley, but I suspect they won’t fit me as a consumer.

You’re not the only one thinking that, there are definite similarities between the Glossybox and BoxyCharm websites.
And once again, I signed up for another subscription box by reading your blog. I’m obsessed with getting these boxes every month, they’re so much fun! All my friends say I have a problem now. Lol.

When I attempted to visit the website my virus protection program warned me not to. Seems suspicious.
