Dottie Box Review - Handmade Indie Subscription Boxes - March 2013

Dottie Box is a new subscription box that sends you handmade goodies each month. This review is of the March box, and they were nice enough to send me the April box to review as well, so watch out for that post later this week!

Hair Chalk from Sharee Boutique - Value $5.50

I was pretty excited to see this in the box - hair chalk has been one of those hair trends I've always wanted to try, but I think I needed it to literally show up at my door for me to give it a try. This will be fun to try this summer!

Mustache Decals for Nail Art from Make It Stick Design - Value $1

I thought I had seen every mustache product since this mustache trend started a few years ago, but this is by far the cutest! They also offer sunglass decals - I may have to buy some for summer!

Baby Off the Hook Crochet Coffee Cozy - Value $6

Verdict: I love discovering new handmade items and artists on Etsy - but sometimes Etsy can feel a little overwhelming! I love the idea of having a curated box of indie goods send to you each month! What do you think of Dottie Box?

How does the Dottie box compare the Umba box? I just ordered my first one this week. Can’t wait to see what’s in it, I have an etsy obsession, and I’m hoping to discover some new stuff!

I like the variety in this box. I feel like some of the other Indie/handmade boxes I’ve seen only include 2 or 3 items, so I don’t really feel like I’m getting my money’s worth.
