The April 2013 Birchbox spoilers are out! I'm really excited about the products they are sampling this month - fingers crossed for the StriVectin and the Ojon! Any products you hope to see in your April Birchbox?

Birchbox is the worst, and they’d do well to learn they’re losing subscribers right and left. I gave them so many chances, but I finally canceled recently and thank God that I did. Everything since has been vomit city.

I love beauty products and was hoping to receive the items from the spoiler but was greatly disappointed. Last months box was a joke and I even informed them that sending me a tiny hair tie when I specified I am interested in beauty products is ridiculous. This month I received two bags of tea, a subscription to women’s health (which I don’t want), and those foil samples of shampoo and conditioner. I did receive body gel and a tiny itty bitty eye cream but that’s it!

I think they send bloggers the better boxes because I never receive large or decent sized samples. I mean tea???? Really?

I just got my box for April today and I am SO upset. Everything was an absurdly small sample, and the one thing that was full sized didn’t even make it into my box! It was just the cap for a lip pencil….

I honestly do not think they pay any attention to the profiles of their customers, because there is no logical reason behind sending a 17 year old girl with healthy skin and hair only products made for reducing age/revitalizing/freshening. Seriously I am so bummed.

You really blew it birchbox

Just canceled birchbox. Only got one month and thought it was a waste compared to glossybox. I am also subscribed to ipsy so we will see which is Better

Thanks for posting the spoiler! I just discovered the subscription box world and signed up for ipsy. April will be my first month. I keep wanting to like birchbox but people just seem to dislike it more and more. I think they advertise as a makeup box and April is all hair and skin care. Gah I’m looking for another makeup subscription box that is good for a college girl’s budget. What do you recommend that you get the most for your value and is mainly make up? Thanks!

I’m a big fan of Birchbox – but I know it’s not for everyone! If you are looking for makeup only boxes I would recommend Starbox ($15 a month for full sized makeup). GLOSSYBOX also usually has at least a few makeup items in each box and they are typically deluxe or full sized.

Hope that helps! Let me know what you pick!
