Birchbox Reviews – March 2013 – Plus Coupon Code! Monthly Beauty Sample Boxes

I think I am obsessed with all of these beauty box subscriptions!!! However, I recently found out that you can buy most of them with all the products included, on EBAY for so much less!!!! UGH…anyway, although I am obsessed, I haven’t subscribed to many. I ALWAYS fill out all the information but when it’s time to click the purchase button, I stop and go to another page. I know it’s strange but most of the ones I’ve subscribed to, I haven’t really liked…that is mainly why I’m writing. I would love to know what other people think about them and why. It’s funny because I got my very 1st subscription to one for Christmas (last year) from my best friend. She got me a 3 month subscription to Birchbox, I loved it and it’s still my favorite! Once I started getting my Birchboxes every month, I was hooked! So, I thought I’d try another one and that was GlossyBox. When I first got it I thought it was going to be amazing because of the luxurious packaging but I was WRONG! I definitely think they put way more $ into that instead of focusing on the product quality! OK, so then I tried (still am until subscription runs out) IPSY and although I appreciate the low price, I really don’t care for this one. So far, every box has just been uninteresting and uninspiring…sorry to all of you that like it! 🙂 I am almost done, I promise! The only other one I’ve received so far is the BeautyBox5…ugh! I just got this month’s box and couldn’t believe how boring it was! The lackluster products were a disappointment so I immediately cancelled my subscription (also sorry to those who like this box). With ALL that said, I’m still intrigued by the concept and am still hopeful that I will find another one that I fall in love with…PLEASE let me know if you read this and have some suggestions that I might like!!! Until then, I’ll keep enjoying my monthly Birchboxes- 🙂

I wish I had received your box! Mine didn’t have the eyeshadow, primer, or the shampoo. I received a ridiculous hairband which is basically just blue string. I receive a dry shampoo sample which I do like but other than that I was so disappointed in this box. What on earth do I need a plain tiny blue hairband for!?

We got the same box this month :). I just posted the review of my March Birchbox on my blog too. It is the best Birchbox I’ve ever received!

My box came with: the Madewell nail file, a set of the Incoco nail polish appliqués, the Whish shave cream, a 2oz Serge Normant dry shampoo (I LOVE dry shampoos as I wash my hair every other day so I’m excited to try this), and a silver Twistband headband.

This was actually my first Birchbox ever. I have a few friends who subscribe and I’m really getting into beauty products more than I’ve ever been so it was time to try it. Your blog pushed me to finally try it! Thanks!

I loved my latest Birchbox, even more so than the first two I have received. I’m frustrated though that I never get any makeup products! At least this box didn’t come with perfume again!

I got the same box as you, I would have liked it a lot more though if I had gotten that eyeshadow shade you got! Instead I got Burnt Umber (aka dark brown), how boring – esp for Spring 🙁

I love my box this month as well!! I got the same products as you except for the conditioner, I got Oscar Blandi Lift Mousse. I got this in my Sample Society box last month and loved it so I was very happy to see it again this month in my Birchbox. Oh, and I got a beautiful grey eye shadow, which I love! I do really love the color you got also!! No complaints at all this month for me!!
