I was not able to use the special invitation link to get the extra $15 off. Just wondering if anyone else has tried. Thanks for the offer~

Neither one of your codes worked for me. I signed up through your invitation link and I did not get $15 off. I also used LIPS at checkout and I did not get the free lipstick, Gilt said that the code was invalid.

Sorry – not sure why the Gilt link isn’t working – but I removed that info from the post since it’s not working. Also, the LIPS code is for use on Glossyboxc.com – hope that helps!

Ladies, companies should not be able to get away with all of the things you are describing! I have three words of advice: better business bureau. If you paid for a service and didn’t get it the BBB should be informed about it, they can help you get your money back with the product you paid for, or at least they will log your complaint and give the company a worse rating.

I didn’t even think about filing a complaint with the BBB, good idea! I did file a dispute with my credit card company so hopefully I can get the money back (although it does look like I will eventually get a box, even though my tracking number is still a bunch of 0s). I did finally get an email back today, it was a generic response which didn’t answer my question or really address anything I had said or asked in my emails. It did say my box would be “really beautiful!” which is always a helpful response to complaints…

Be SUPER careful with Love With Food… I bought a 3 month subscription and only recieved the first month! After emailing customer service and getting no where, I contacted them via facebook, heard from someone after a week, they said they would mail me the 2 boxes I was missing (they did mail me two boxes, but they were the same!) and told me they would give me a 3 month subscription free starting with the January box. Guess what, never got it.

Strange. I have been nothing but satisfied with Love with Food.

Glossybox is the worst. They charged me TWO TIMES for the same thing and are shipping it to the WRONG address. After many, many emails over the course of three weeks (they don’t answer the phone) and posts on their facebook page, they blocked me from their fb page and emailed me that it was too late to do anything about it and they wouldn’t make it right.

They blocked me too, after deleting several of my posts. I wasn’t spamming, I wasn’t being offensive, and in fact was one of the girls helping the others get their tracking info with the work around! I tweeted at them that it was poor customer service to delete comments and block me, and they unblocked.
I’m not even excited for the dumb Man Repeller box now. The ridiculous lack of customer service combined with all the spoilers has really left a bad taste in my mouth about the whole company. Luckily, we have dedicated girls like Liz that help introduce us to plenty of alternatives! 🙂

I have to agree with Sherry. There’s quite a bit of dialogue on their FB page about how lame their customer service is. Agreed that the products are great, but in my opinion, one pays for a SERVICE as well as a product. I signed up for a 3-month subscription, and won’t pay for a renewal until they demonstrated better customer care.

(BTW, love this site…lots of great suggestions!)

I’d be super careful dealing with GlossyBox, I still haven’t received my January box or a tracking number and it’s the last day of the month! They don’t answer their phone or respond to emails or tweets. I heard some credit card companies have actually started calling customers to verify the charges and they have had so many complaints!! Hopefully they can get it together soon, but I cancelled for next month.

I’m in the same boat with GlossyBox, but I have actually received email responses from them. According to the email they sent me this afternoon (Thursday, 1/31), they are still sending out January boxes as late as tomorrow (2/1). However, their Twitter account says that all boxes have shipped. I’ll likely cancel because I don’t want to deal with a company that can’t get their messaging synced up.
